“Nice, neat and orderly store.
Love shopping at this particular location on weekdays during the day. Most of the time its not busy and you are left uninterrupted.
The employees have all been very helpful and are pleasant.
And, this is a great place to shop instead of driving to the closest big box department store in Pittsburgh Mills. They have practically everything they have at competitive prices (and you save on gas and wear and tear!).”
“The store is closing. The sales on everything have begun. Some are only 5 %. Some Christmas is 50 %. There are some bare shelves already. I did notice more employees in the furniture department. The coupon I have on the receipt states it cannot be used in stores that are closing.”

It was well lit, clean, well stocked and the cashier was very nice and helpful. I could have spent all day in this store and of course spent a lot more money! “Dollar general is a nice store. They have just about everything you need. I like the products too. The prices are reasonable as well. What bothers me though, in every single store in this particular chain in my area, the isles are overcrowded with items and you can't get through. It looks messy and unkempt. It's also a safety hazard. My suggestion is to always remove ladders during working hours. Create a better shelving display so that items aren't on the floor and customers can actually view the products. What frustrates me the most is when I'm waiting and calling out for a cashier to help check me out. I also don't like when employees get snippy. I understand they get understaffed but you don't take it out on the customers. I believe one cashier should stay behind the counter at all times. Finally, never disrespect an employee by chastising them in front of customers. This causes humiliation with your employees and it makes management look bad. If you have an issue, wait until you have a free moment and take them to a private place where you can calmly explain what it is they are doing wrong. It's not very professional to lose your cool with an employee in front of customers. That is just poor work ethic.”
“This Dollar Tree store has sooo much to choose from.
The store is clean and always stocked with everything.
I call it " The $20 Dollar Tree", because the prices are the best!! ☺

“Always full shelves and tons of great buys. Even if they had to raise their prices to 90% of all their inventory, they made up for it by having more brand names than ever. Like with beauty products. Tons of Animal friendly options too which are usually expensive and hard to find at times.”

“I been coming here since they have opened and I have got to say, I have seen a huge improvement. I think the new manager Zac has completely taken that store to another level. There no longer is carts everywhere and trash laying around and the store looks clean and organized. This is by far my nkw favorite dollar general!”

“Friendly overwhelmed associates. Come on Dollar General, hire at least one stock person per store. They should do NOTHING but stocking shelves. In addition to a stock person, be sure to have a cashier to check out the customers only. Could be considered an attempt to cut down on the "millions" of complaints about aisles being constantly overflowing with product, at EVERY store. It's really not that hard to figure out. Get back to caring about customer satisfaction and do something about this major issue. EDIT 1/2/23: Over the last few months, I've noticed more help at this location. Store doesn't have the blocked aisles as it's had in the past. One suggestion, bring out one or two carts of products from the truck at a time. Try not to bring the majority of them in from loading dock resulting in clogged aisles. Great job ladies, thank you!”

“FD Drivers: EASY back in, spin around in the front parking lot, back up to door on side of building OR depending on trailer length, there's a decent amount of space behind FD to spin around. Great staff.”
“I mainly went to look for decor (I collect bird&waterfowl decor/antiques) &my gram who doesn't drive wanted me to see if they had any bookshelves. They hardly had any furniture or shelving currently...I know usually it sells the day it is donated if they put it out, so I wasn't holding my breath for the bookshelf. However, I did find a very pretty collectors tin w/birds on it and 2 pair of denim. They don't have as much to pick from in the "small" sizes in the denim. The goodwill a few exits north has a bit more. They seemed to have more large sizes donated than smalls at the current time. Hollister &Banana Republic were the 2 I found&chose to buy. The "color of the wk" is blue so I got the Banana Republic pair half off. Very nice staff and seemed very knowledgeable. I also overheard them asking the customers if they needed help with anything while I was shopping. That is always a good thing when your in a store where there is a vast amount of different inventory daily. The quicker you find what you are possibly looking for (if it doesn't find u first) the better for you and the staff. Everyone wants to be on their way (if your the customer)&or get on with their day?. It was a good experience. No long long lines either. Which was a change compared to most stores. They definitely need some donations though (im not speaking for them; its just an educated guess). So if you want to get rid of some stuff they probably need it, so maybe donate it at the Cheswick location?❣”
“FD Drivers: Back door is a dock located on 8th St. You can get there 2 ways, either right on 8th and back into the back lot or go up to 9th, turn right, turn right on 4th, turn right on 8th blind side from that side. There's a lot of space back there. Their dock is the closest one to the building (of the bay doors straight back)”
“Everything! I especially like the Dollar General right next to the new Kensington bridge. They are always stocked And always have what I need. Another thing nice about this Store is that everything is always fresh, which is a major plus! I would rather go to Dollar General because it is easy to maneuver around unlike Walmart where you have to walk a mile to get from one end of the store to the other. Kudos Dollar General.”
“This Dollar General in Sarver is a godsend ! When you really don't want to go into Big Super or Big Box stores... you have Dollar General.. lots of parking and lots to look at , located next the Advance Auto Store off of 356 North , between Kings and Sheetz's.... God Bless, Keith..”
“They are doing much better now that they have a different manager and have been open a while.. The gentleman who is always there and manages this store is so nice.. They have a hard time keeping employees, (It seems many businesses are having trouble with staffing right now) so he is stuck working alot but He still remains so very kind.”
