“Great local grocery store, always good produce and friendly staff. This place just has a really nice vibe.
Only downside is that the parking lot is too small and can be a problem, so I make a point of only coming here when it’s not busy.
Also would be great if opening hours were extended”
“I moved to Glenside 2 months ago and I have never been happier with this grocery store. Not only are the prices good but their prepared foods are out of this world! Try their homemade soups,they will send your taste buds to a new universe. I want to add that every employee that I have met are friendly coutious and professional. The big supermarkets have nothing on O'neils”
“What a nice gourmet shop this is we were just passing by and had to go in. This is top level gourmet items with a huge selection of smoked fishes. Yes I am vegan but one of the many things I do miss eating is smoked salmon or a bagel toasted with lettuce, tomato, onions, and green peppers. That’s something I would eat once a week forever and as a kid I worked in delis and they have something that I haven’t had in years and I had to get some and that was Halava The nice lady in the store gave us a few samples to taste you’ll see in the pictures. It brought back such memories. We ended up grabbing a gourmet tub of pistachio halava later on evening we shared a few servings and wow it was so delicious. The pistachios on the inside were nice and crispy and the taste just brought back so many memories not easy to find things like this sometimes so now I know where to go.”
“Matt and Mike’s Italian Market is the best place in South Philly! I love their Italian Specialty Hoagies on Sarcone’s Bread! I’ve been coming here since I was a child, picking up groceries with my grandmother. Now, I take my child there. My grandmother, Cathy, has been a loyal customer since the beginning. Matt and Mike have grown as a family and witnessed generations grow.
I see some reviews on here about “scams” or people’s “card number” being used, but these guys are real honest and solid people. I’ve never had any type of transaction fraud my whole life of knowing them. These are some good men who work hard to provide for their families. I highly recommend Matt & Mike’s Italian Market!!”
“My food was awesome. I had vegetable fried rice . The flavors were on point rice had a grill flavor. I'm usually a tough critic but I was satisfied. Very clean restaurant, waitress were nice and helpful.”

“old school prices, delicious food and very sweet people. I ordered thru Uber eats and unfortunately my bubble tea cracked and spilled in transit so my sandwiches were soaked. what I was able to save ended up being delicious though and when I called them about the issue they kindly gave me the info to contact Uber and apologized even though they weren't at fault. looking forward to ordering here more often”

As I left that bad review, I was thinking of what a contrast it is to shop at Trader Joe's.
Trader Joe's is truly amazing. EVERY employee is happy and friendly. Every register is operated by a human that fully engages the customer.
All products are faced and rotated perfectly.
From now on, i'm driving the extra five miles to shop at Trader Joe's instead of using my local ACME.”
“This is the premier stop when visiting the Italian Market! From cured meats to fine cheeses and all the pantry items in between, there is nowhere better to go.Olives, shooters, seafood salad, pasta, olive oil, gourmet vinegars... this shop is an overload for the senses!From the cheeses, among the "have to try" are aged provolone, extra aged Beemster (a gouda beyond explanation), Moliterno al Tartufo, and Testun Occelli alla Grappa.Their pepperoni has no comparison! You will always get fast, friendly service when you visit.Parking can be a challenge. The sidewalk will set you back $51 bucks, but can't be beat for convenience when you're hauling out 5 or 6 bags of goods! :)”

“I just wanted to point out on a recent visit here with my mom, who is disabled and wanted to purchase a chair she saw in an ad, that we had an excellent experience! We didn't see the chair but a young lady, Ashley noticed we needed help and she stepped in . She brought the chair out from the backand offered to help us out to our car with it when ready. She told us to have Cam up front call her when neededbut instead he offered to help. Ultimately both Cam and Ashley were pleasant, friendly and both insisted on helping. One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time.”

“Most of the time a great place to shop, but there is an old woman at the register who likes to throw shade. Thus 4 instead of 5 Stars. I almost gave 1 star because of her but the rest of the staff don't deserve that”
“I highly recommend having your device repaired here. I called to see if he repaired Samsung Galaxy Tablets. He asked what was wrong and he ordered the necessary parts without knowing who I was. He called when the parts arrived. I went the next day and was done in a half hour. I am completely satisfied. Tony Morano”
“I love so much about this place. The bakery is one of the best in the area. The only thing I don't like is the prices. High in comparison to numerous other grocery stores. But the good here most definitely outweighs the bad!”

“I recently moved near Broomall area, and what I always do is searching for European grocery stores. I have been lucky to find Euro Market in Broomall. It is very well stocked with Eastern European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern groceries, teas, and spices. In addition, they prepare on site delicious sandwiches, or if you prefer a lighter bite - spanakopita and tiropita right from Greece. In the summer they are selling tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and other veggies directly brought from Lancaster- the Amish county!
The owner of the store and her team are lovely, very welcoming, friendly, and ready to help and go an extra mile for their customers.
I always feel welcomed, get good deals here. For this I would like to give credit where credit is due.”

“How can one not like Trader Joe's....the staff, the food, the artsy logos and symbols, the 80s and 90s California chill vibe..but in a hurry at times.....otherwise....if you have not been to any Trader Joe's....it is never too late.....the food selection is amazing.....farmers market sourced with local and USA based as well as....yes...imported food.....a must experience.....and lots of...Food....for all occasions.....again a go-to Gourmet like grocery...and endless delicious snacks.....”
“Trader Joe’s offers a great selection of unique and interesting products you won’t find in a typical grocery store. From specialty snacks to fresh produce and frozen meals, there’s always something new to try. They also have a lovely selection of flowers, which adds a nice touch to the shopping experience.
I went on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed! The cashier mentioned that Sundays are their busiest day, which makes sense given the crowds. If you prefer a more relaxed shopping experience, it might be better to go on a weekday. Overall, a great place to shop—just be prepared for the weekend rush!”

“Been going there since 1980 first across the street, enjoyed talking to her in German (used to work in Germany before coming to the states and spent time with her husband אָלעוואַהאָלעם enjoying sake and shushi , became friends with their son's at Frank's bar when they opened a satellite store at 13th Street & pine.
Since day one their produce is of the highest quality standards, not once in 44 years did I notice a rotten ?❗
