“Fantastic. Highly recommend. Jess came out initially and help us understand the process and helped us map the boundaries. Had great ideas too about various areas that our dog now loves. The crew that installed the fence was very professional. All of the trainers were very good as well. We have an australian shepherd 1 year old who is full of energy and is now able to carry sticks from one side of the yard to the other for hours safely as a result of the training and the invisible fence. If you own a dog and dont have a physical fence definitely get one.”

“It’s the best coziest amalgam of anything you need for your pet! There are kitties inside for adoption and they have almost every kind of cat or dog food on the internet. They have specialty brands from Hills Science diet, except those that need a prescription. They also have all kinds of raw and freeze dried foods and the occasional vendor assistant physically there with information and free samples. The bird food is fresh and cheaper than a specialty bird store, sometimes they run out of bird seed. They also have a long wall full of multiple kinds of leashes, collars, and coats for cats and dogs. Some cat houses and dog beds, too. So, more specialty items and better quality items than a large pet box store would have. Highly recommend!”

“We love taking our dog there for her bath! $11 well spent, clean, shampoos, conditioners, etc provided. You can blow dry, but I would still recommend bringing a towel for after as well as a collar that you can hook your dog onto the tub. Helpful staff!”

“This Concord Pet is great. I bring my dog here, since PetSmart can be a little overstimulating. I let him pick out his own treats or toys, and most of the employees are pretty helpful.
The manager in particular is very helpful, and very kind. She's given my dog samples before and is quite sweet to him.
The prices in general are more competitive with online stores than they used to be, but not always. Still, it's great for supporting local businesses and they're nice to my pittie boy, so I can definitely recommend this location.”

“I came here to get my 9 month old puppy groomed. She is pretty skittish and I was worried that she wouldn't be able to get anything accomplished because of her fear. Victor was an amazing groomer- he helped my pup get used to the space, gave her extra time with the sounds and nail clippers. Victor was able to get her back paws clipped but not her front (no shame), and suggested that she come to the grooming Yappy Hours to desensitize her to grooming. I am very satisfied with Victor and the grooming services offered here. My pup smelled nice, had her shedding reduced, back nails clipped, and had a good time. Will be back again! Thanks Victor!”
“FINAL UPDATE (6/26/26): I'm very happy to report that Petco has 100% made good on what started as a bad experience (2 weeks ago). Just picked up my Samoyed from her groom and she looks amazing!! Hands down the best my dog has looked yet! Kudos to Mike the manager and Taylor the groomer for turning this situation around, working w/ my concerns, and giving my dog the spa treatment she deserved. Well earned 5 stars!!!
UPDATE (6/15/26): Spoke w/ the manager Mike who was courteous, professional, and helpful. We had a really good conversation, and he spoke w/ the groomer. We're gonna try again to address my dog's grooming needs (Samoyed) and move forward. Plus he offered to comp the whole thing. Kudos Petco on working to resolve this 👍🏼 and so I'm changing my review to 3 ⭐⭐⭐- I'll update again after the groom (and hopefully be going to 5🤞)
6/13/26 - Just had a bad experience at Petco in Media- which is crazy because we've been going there since it opened, joined their VitaCare vet program, and have had nothing but great experiences. Unfortunately today was a bomb!
Had an appointment today to get my Samoyed a wash & cut, which she has had there several times before- all great experiences- staff has always been friendly & accommodating w/ my dog's needs, and they do a fantastic job. They called me to ask if I could come an hour earlier because the girl who was scheduled to groom my dog had never had her before and wanted extra time if needed- which I said sure to. I got there (early) I said hi and introduced my dog by name- and it went downhill from there.
(I decided to delete my original complaint/issue as Petco has totally addressed it- no need to throw mud in their eye)
Gonna call Petco to try to work this out because I generally like going there and using their products & services.
I would've put zero stars- but if they can make this right, I'll be changing my review from zero to hero- no problem. We'll see...”

“We took puppy classes with Jim, and we loved Jim, his knowledge and expertise so much that we signed up for the next level! Jim has really made our puppy, Ham, such a better listener and taught her calming techniques that really come in handy with an excitable puppy. Jim is a kind professional and the dogs seem to instantly love him (and so do we!)
We also do grooming with Danny, and we were a bit nervous after all the different stories you hear about chain grooming salons, but Danny is just as fantastic as Jim! Ham always looks and smells great, and we love her Pawgress report. We will continue with Danny for all her grooming, and hope to continue Ham through the training levels!”
