But the first time I brought our pitbull mix into Puffy Paws, they said they were so happy to have her breed which made me so excited as some groomers aren’t the most welcoming of dogs like her! We’ve been there twice now for monthly grooming and the second time Ellie was SO happy to get inside. She never seems anxious or scared when leaving, and for a rescue with a rough past who hates being groomed, that’s so important to us. They’re also very reasonably priced and fast, which is great for getting her groomed during the workday. So happy to have found a new groomer in our neighborhood!

Only thing is I've stopped in and sat and waited for someone to come to the receptionist desk and nobody ever came. I'm not sure why because I heard people talking and I rang the bell at the front desk. The employees seem very friendly when you talk tho. And have waited for a long time to pick my dog up. Hard to get someone to answer the phone sometimes too. But I'd still deal with that to have my dog play there! It's very clean and my dog loves it. I also love the live web cam. You can watch your dog on nice cameras all day.

Acrospire Brewing Company
1702 Mt Royal Blvd, GlenshawMore than a brewery its a community. Acrospire is part of the fabric of the community.
They have a great rotating selection of beers. You cant tell how good a brewery is when they can make great beers in more than one type and without needed to over hop everything. We had tried styles as light a Mexican style beer to Stoudt's and everything was great. They also do more experimental beers from time to time which is always great to see.
Its a family friendly community environment. The owners seems to always be there and accommodating. They are constantly hosting events that are fun and unique. Most recently we did the Jigs and Swigs Irish Dancing which was unique and a lot of fun. They also often have great live music.
They bathrooms are clean and large enough that even when its packed there is not a line.
They have a great outdoor space with live plants, which makes it feel more secluded.
They often update their social media so you can see what fun events they have.
They have great food trucks and when they do not have a food truck Franks Pizza is just a short walk away for great food.
If you are looking to have some great beers with family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Come and raise a pint!

Hartwood Towne Centre, 3390 Saxonburg Blvd, GlenshawLa Prima coffee makes for excellent coffees. Good variety of ice cream flavors and other treats. Variety of inside seating and a couple benches outside.
I *love* the peanut butter Oreo milkshake (with some Reese's PB sauce drizzled in the cup). Be warned: the large is designed for multiple hungry sweet tooth!
