“I give a solid 5 stars for sleep inn and suites in Harrisburg ! I stayed here for a couple weeks , while I was waiting in transition for a new home. My experience here was exceptional ! Everyone here was very friendly, professional and accommodating ! The room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet during the week. Obviously , weekends are busy at this location with a Hersheypark and nearby events. A clean bathroom with walk-in shower with huge glass door. They provided a clean smelling shampoo and conditioner ( in a squeeze bottle dispenser) . Same brand handsoap and moisturizing lotion. The room service was on point everyday ! PLEASE TIP the housekeepers ! These ladies work hard to make sure every room is nice! They have a wonderful breakfast EVERY day ! Scrambled eggs, sausage , waffle machine , yogurt, fresh fruit , mini muffins , breakfast cereal orange juice , and good coffee! I like to give credit where it's due, and this hotel gets my WELL DESERVED compliments! Thank you everyone for making my stay wonderful !”

“This hotel is located in the center heart of downtown Harrisburg. It is very beautiful. Walkable cute little area and downtown. Lors and lots of stuff for you to explore. It is 15-20 minutes drive to and from the airport. Very convenient and pretty (if you love city) the hotel room was nice the bed was so comfy and the hotel staff are so helpful and friendly! ??????”

“My stay was defined by the incredible staff, who are the true stars of this hotel. From the accommodating front desk to the attentive restaurant and bar team, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was greeted personally in the lobby, my questions were answered cheerfully, and my room was always refreshed with fresh towels.
My only note is that the suite needed a more thorough clean upon arrival. However, the professionalism and warmth of the staff completely overshadowed this. They created a level of rapport and genuine care that I rarely experience, making the hotel absolutely worth it.”

“We WOULD have given a 1 star review for our stay due to an extremely rude front desk manager, but Ashley was so accommodating and kind. So this 5 star is for her. Whoever her manager was on 1/16/2026 at around 1:30 pm should trade places on the org chart with her. He was awful.”

“Staff is super friendly. Great location. Rooms are a little run down but spotless. My only complaint is the pool pump broke and we couldn't use it , but I guess it's no one's fault and staff said they are getting a new pool soon. I would definitely stay there again. Being pet friendly is a plus too”

“I checked in today and Miss Elise was absolutely kind and welcoming. Because of the construction going on in the lobby she went out of her way to show me the quickest way to get to my room. It's the little things that make employees stand out. Please give Miss Elise all the consideration that she deserves.”

“Had a reservation here, along with other family members, well the day of check in the general manager went above and beyond. The family we were traveling with booked a different Candlewood suites in the area. Nila went above and beyond to make sure we were all together. If that’s not superior customer service I don’t know what is. Thank so much again Nila !!”

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place seemed clean and didnt have unpleasant odor. I was expecting hot tub, but it and the pool were broken. the fire alarms on the 2nd floor went off around 10 pm, everybody went down to lobby and it was a false alarm. Apparently this had been happening for several nights in a row and guests were concerned. Since these are kitchenettes someone could be cooking. Reasonable. The weird part was around 1 AM the light under the microwave went on by itself. Neither my husband nor myself had turned it on. The light went off again by itself while we were sleeping. No reasonable explanation because nothing else was affected...management have a clue?”

The room rate was so low, I really didn’t know what to expect, but was so very happy to find a lovely facility and more importantly, a comfortable and clean room with nice amenities. “If you need a clean room, cheap, this is your place. Has all the normal room items you expect. Didn't see an pool, but i wasn't look for one, needed a bed and a shower. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot worked, as well as the iron and ironing board. Had in room USB ports to plug in my charging cords. Left very satisfied.”
“Was going to cancel based solely on reviews. I'm glad I didn't. The first person I ran into couldn't speak English . She immediately went for someone who took care of check ins.He was very friendly. He let me check in early. The room was spotless. Bathroom same way. The elevator was fine.I unloaded our car and went to pickup my wife at her seminar.She was concerned about the negative reviews also.We were both really happy with the accommodations.The breakfast was really wonderful.Everything was covered. They had a great assortment of goodies.We will stay here again.”

“I had an excellent experience here, largely because of the outstanding staff. Jon went above and beyond to help me fix a mistake that happened during the reservation process. He handled it quickly and professionally, and everything he recommended about the room and the stay was exactly as he described.
I’m a Marriott Titanium member and typically stay exclusively at Marriott properties, so I have experienced a lot of hotels and staff over the years. I can honestly say I’ve never encountered a team this helpful and attentive before. Kudos to management for training and maintaining such a great staff at this location. The hotel itself may be a little dated, but very very clean, but the quality of the service more than makes up for it. Special thanks as well to Heather and Lourie for their kindness and professionalism. The entire team made the stay exceptional.”
