“Incredibly friendly and helpful employees...the owners are extremely helpful and kind...extremely hospitable atmosphere and environment...specialty item unavailable anywhere else...I frequent the store almost daily”
“We visited this quaint shop several times over the past 2 years. Amazing smoked cheeses! The staff is super friendly. Shop has lots of great products from various small businesses. A+++ Holy Smoke!”
“City Market and Cafe on Memorial Highway in Dallas, Pennsylvania, is a casual restaurant with a somewhat fancy atmosphere. We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation on a Friday evening and saw that the place was almost filled to capacity. Despite that, the noise level was subdued, even at the bar, which is centered in the dining room. The place was clean, and Amy, our server, was delightful and very helpful when asked about menu selections.Over a newly opened bottle of tasty Sauvignon Blanc, we chose a half-pound of Buffalo Bites as an appetizer, which are fresh cut, lightly dusted tender chicken chunks in a spicy, flavorful Cajun sauce. The dish was very satisfying, and we were pleased that we had enough left over to take home. The Mac & Cheese, with a house-made Cooper cheese blend, Cavatappi pasta, and a breadcrumb crust, was also delicious. The cheese was rich, smooth and creamy, and the pasta was served al denteThe Roasted Beet Salad, with beets, orange segments, arugula, candied walnuts, fennel slaw, greens, and a balsamic glaze, was fine; nevertheless, with all those ingredients, it didn’t pack the flavor as one would imagine. Also somewhat disappointing was the veal parmesan with penne. The veal was good enough, although the sauce wasn’t very tangy, and the breading and mozzarella cheese easily slipped off the veal. It appeared as if the dish was pulled out of a freezer and placed in a microwave oven before being brought to the table. After our meals, we decided to skip dessert and just finish the wine. Despite our fantastic server and soothing atmosphere, we departed a bit unimpressed. The chicken bites and Mac & cheese were great, but the salad and veal parmesan, although not horrible, did miss their marks, reminding me of dishes served at a nondescript family restaurant.”
“This is where I do most of our grocery shopping. Very good selection, clean, great atmosphere and very well kept building. in addition there is a hardware store as part of the market. Their fresh baked items are amazing. I recommend this place.”
“Stopped by here yesteday with my sister. Great experience and even better chocolate. Lady working up front was very kind and offered us some fudge to try. Will definitely be back here more!”
“Workers always greet me as I come in. Very friendly atmosphere. They also let us set up to collect money for our local football team. I appreciate that more than you know!!”
“The owner knows most customers by name, as do the cashiers. Always top notch friendly service. Best gas prices around. Clean bathroom. Can't think of a single negative to call out.”

“You can always count on finding what you want here. And, they have the best sugar-free bakery in the world!! Especially sugar-free pies, muffins and scones. Homemade Chicken Pot Pies, Beef Pasties, Shepherd's Pie, pierogies, and many other homemade meals! We purchased an entire turkey dinner, turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies! No cooking tonight. Let Gerrity's do it. And prices are less than other places! As an example: Almond Chocolate Milk, $4.59 other stores, $3.99 at Gerrity's!”

“Awesome c-store!! Owner is really nice and friendly. The lady's that work there are always humble and have a smile. Prices are what you would expect for any c-store but... smokes are slightly cheaper and gas is always a few cents lower then most the other guys out there. Made it my go-to for the small stuff!!”
“Great little gem of a place. The deli staff is so kind as well as all the others. Reasonably priced items & store size is easily accessible for many that dont want to walk miles!! Always a friendly face to help customers.”

“It's nice being able to get milk, bananas or sugar whenever I need to without going to the grocery store. The owner and his employees are always nice to me. Prices are normal for convenience.”
“Wish they had chocolate malt Ovaltine.. I don't like going to Walmart or gerritys for it. I do my shopping here and it makes me sad knowing there is no chocolate malt Ovaltine.. one day .... One day they will have it.”
“Great supermarket. I just moved to the outskirts of Wilkes-Barre and could not find my Spanish condiments. I hit JACKPOT at this supermarket. They have everything I needed. From cilantro, recaó, ají, arroz Goya, Export Sodas, fresh yuca, malanga and much more. Totally recommend if you're looking for those carribeño sabor o sazon ☺️??”
“My regular place to shop for groceries due to location/close to home. Typically we'll stocked. Prices are a bit higher than other stores. Would love to see improvement with employees near self check registers being more attentive when help is needed and not always standing around talking to each other rather than paying attention when customers need assistance.”

“Everyone is friendly and super kind. Everything mostly is just way over priced tho. It may be a convenient store but it's not convenient on my pocket..LOL see what I did there ?”
“This store is fascinating to a barely boomer. Natural foods and remedies are appealing. The essential oil selection is terrific. I always visit to buy birthday cards and such. Well worth a visit.”
“Decent prices, I shopped yesterday between 10:50 and 11:10. Shelves were decently stocked. The only thing was that they didn't have regular Ken's Italian. Would highly recommend their fresh Italian hoagies. They're cheaper and of higher quality than Subways.Easy in, easy out. Just be careful shopping in this neighborhood late at night”
“All the Usual items you expect to find at a convenience store, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Softdrinks, Ice Cream bars, and Snacks. Plus Beer And Wine, Patrick's Foodmart got that.”
“The nicest Dollar General I’ve been to! I tried to call to compliment the management a few times but the phone line was always busy. If I need to go to the dollar store, I will go out of my way to come back to this one!! (:”
“Very nice store always orderly and clean. The people who work there have always been nice and respectful to me. Plus they have a few skill machines to play. Good place for gas and snacks..”
“A regular Turkey Hill, but it doesn't have a gas station. It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot from two different streets. It is in a nice spot before going into Wilkes-Barre or going back into Ashley from Wilkes-Barre. It is nice inside and has everything a regular Turkey Hill would have minus gas.”
“I went today to get plantains and they had it and I gotta a lot of stuff for 7.50 they handed me a bag right when I started looking for the stuff there nice and have Diet Coke now so I don’t gotta go to turkey hill if I can rate this a 10/10 I would”
“This store is what Every town needs. It has just a little bit of everything and more you forgot about. From affordable snacks and pantry staples when you might be in a pinch to affordable crystal and clothing, pet items, do it yourself housing organizers, tools galore and my personal favorite the best little knick knacks or thinking of you gifts for any occasion. Aside from having anything from eye hooks to oreos and phone chargers i must say the amazing prices almost bring back the days when a dollar would get you more then just one item. Believe it or not the experience gets better when interacting with the two women that run the store as they are friendly, kind, and most definitely generous with everything including their patience with my autistic 18 month old. A must see to believe kinda store, not many like it anymore so don't miss out.”
“💥💥💥WOW! This place is a hidden gem! I stopped in and ordered some rib eye steaks and the owner cut them to perfection! They were excellent over an open fire on our recent camping trip. The kielbasa sticks are a must try and smoked cheese is out of this world! I hope this review helps other people make the trip to Smith’s and support this outstanding family owned small business!💥💥💥”
