Texas Palmyra Hwy, HawleyI called ahead to be sure that they were open, and the woman who answered the phone was so very polite. She asked what I was coming in for and I explained I was driving about 40 minutes for crickets. When my children and I arrived, we were greeted by the nicest woman and man (the owners of the shop). They already had the crickets set aside for us. The very nice woman gave my kids a tour of the animals which they were so grateful for. The whole time the couple were so nice and welcoming to us. I know where I will be going from now on. I’m very happy with my visit and the crickets I brought home were all healthy and ready to be fed to my frogs ! Highly recommend !

2425 US-6, HawleyOn a Friday, my cat was ill & I had not found a local vet since we moved here a year ago. I called my regular vet in Warwick NY & they were booked solid so I needed to find someone local. NOTE TO PET OWNERS: Find a local vet before you need them. I was foolish to wait but don't make my mistake. ALSO find & save the name, number & address for an EMERGENCY VET. This will highly likely be different from your regular vet. In an emergency, you WILL NOT have time to find the best/closest place to go. After calling a couple of vets we found on Google who were booked, we took a chance & called Wallenpaupack Veterinary. Miracle of miracles, they had a cancellation & got us in that afternoon. The vet listened to my concerns & gave me options for tests. I didn't feel they were doing unnecessary procedures or tests to pad the bill. Turns out there was nothing seriously wrong with my cat BUT seeing Wallenpaupack Veterinary gave me piece of mind going into the weekend.

322 Main Ave, HawleyWe are a little spoiled with several good Chinese places by our primary residence, I have to say this is the best Chinese food I have had in years! The fried rice is amazing, I ordered Chicken and Broccoli and both were fresh and tender. Definitely would recommend and we'll be back for sure!!
