2425 US-6, HawleyOn a Friday, my cat was ill & I had not found a local vet since we moved here a year ago. I called my regular vet in Warwick NY & they were booked solid so I needed to find someone local. NOTE TO PET OWNERS: Find a local vet before you need them. I was foolish to wait but don't make my mistake. ALSO find & save the name, number & address for an EMERGENCY VET. This will highly likely be different from your regular vet. In an emergency, you WILL NOT have time to find the best/closest place to go. After calling a couple of vets we found on Google who were booked, we took a chance & called Wallenpaupack Veterinary. Miracle of miracles, they had a cancellation & got us in that afternoon. The vet listened to my concerns & gave me options for tests. I didn't feel they were doing unnecessary procedures or tests to pad the bill. Turns out there was nothing seriously wrong with my cat BUT seeing Wallenpaupack Veterinary gave me piece of mind going into the weekend.

2495 US-6, HawleyGot away with JUST the dog to celebrate our second anniversary somewhere we’d never been, to Lake Wallenpaupack. Found this great restaurant called Gresham’s Chop House. We had a drink in the bar - The PB&J Old Fashioned was AMAZING! We started off with Burrrata with Fig Jelly, Pepitas, and Hot Honey. I had an AMAZING Veal Saltimbocca, Kim has a Steak Salad. Ask for Emma, she was great!!!

The food was delicious, very generous (they included premade sandwiches as well as bagels and spreads), and reasonably priced. Service was wonderful- Chantel was super responsive and very sweet and even personally delivered everything. Thank you all!
