“Bulk foods to buy at cheaper prices, which we all need in this day and age! Lots of bulk food places used to carry bulk angel food cake mixes that I loved, but can't find anywhere anymore. They were so much cheaper than the boxed mixes and tasted just as good. It would e great to see them on the shelves again. If you ever get this again, I'd be thrilled to know!
There are numerous bulk foods here to choose from, as well as a deli with lunch meats and cheeses, and the people are very helpul. Farm fresh eggs are also available.”
“Products are pretty good. Some packaging is weaker than preferred (chip bags can split down the side when opening as an example). The prices are overall comparable to Walmart (some things are a little more and some are a little less).”

“Visiting from the UK, this is a great Supermarket that offers a huge range of fresh and quality goods.The steaks from the meat counter were delicious for the barbecue my friends cooked for us. Very friendly service at the checkout. They have just about everything you need. Highly recommended”
“Can only share with you that I love the taste of this cod fish sandwich. So many sandwiches for lent have a stinky smell. I usually share it with my dogs with 1 or 2 sides and an extra 2 fried chickwn breasts on side. The sandwich alone with bun never cost above $10 so it allows for me to splurge more. I really dont shop for groceries here.”
“I like that you can get almost everything - from food, fruits and veggies, snacks, animal proteins, household items etc - here.
However, for someone who is interested African cuisine, there is little you can get from here.
Overall, its a good place to shop.”

“I love this store. It’s the best one I’ve found in washington. The store manager and assistant manager have very positive outgoing attitudes. They always chat with me whenever I’m in their store. The store manager often asks about my pups even whenever I don’t have them in the store. Very kind ladies down here and highly recommend this dollar general”

“We do a lot of curbside pickup and delivery for our groceries, but there are a few things we prefer to pick out ourselves. The feature of Giant Eagle that I like the most is their Scan Pay Go self scan and checkout system. It is so easy. You scan your card to get a scanner, you scan your items as you shop, put them into your bag, and at the end you go to the dedicated checkout kiosk and scan the barcode. You then pay for your groceries, get your receipt, and walk out to your car. I'm surprised so many people prefer to stand in line at the traditional cashier lines. It saves so much time! Having a dedicated scanner instead of using an app on your phone is easier to handle and you don't need to worry about dropping it. I'm definitely a fan.”
“Staff is very friendly and the store is small enough I know where everything is. It is convenient to get to because in a small town where a lot of people walk you need that.”
“Small pharmacy in a small town where they know your name and often your family. Friendly staff. Line can be long sometimes if you go at the wrong time and I wish they would stay open until 9, but they close pretty early. That's a bummer at times when I'm working a little late etc. Many times they don't have a medication in stock so you have to wait for them to order it. It would be so nice if they would restock it when they run low, my script isn't being discontinued anytime soon. And if its a Friday, you'll be waiting until Monday, so that's actually an enormous inconvenience. I don't like not having medication for days at a time. Restocking when it gets low would resolve that problem easily otherwise, awesome people providing friendly, personal service, lots of smiling, laughing, ribbing chit chat about how your family is doing or anything new and exciting in each others lives while waiting or checking out”

“The Mcdonald dollar general is within walking distance of my place, and I'm very grateful for this seeing as I can't drive due to epilepsy. I am there several times a week. Since the store has what I need at inexpensive prices, I get my cleaning supplies and hygiene products here. The whole staff is always kind and helpful; I look forward to interacting with them.”
“Very friendly staff. They greet you every time you walk in. The store is very clean and organized. They have some hot food like pizza. Many types of varieties are available in every categories like candy, cold drink, cigarettes, Vapes, and beer. The great thing is that if we need something, let them know , they will order it. The public rest room is also available.”
“Beef jerky experience, indeed! Beef jerky has never been my go-to snack so I'm not a pro when it comes to flavor, texture, etc. I've tried it a handful of times and every time I didn't exactly enjoy the complete experience. Sometimes the flavor is not enough, but mostly in my experience, the beef is just too hard. Until I went to Beef Jerky Experience, I didn't know beef jerky could practically melt in my mouth. I wouldn't normally stop in a beef jerky store, but I thought maybe I could buy some and bring it back home for my family to try. They love it. I ended up trying a whole bunch of samples which happens every Sunday, lucky me. I had recommendations thrown my way, friendly people, and I didn't hate anything. I'm just annoyed I didn't buy more because my family wanted more as well after trying these. It's a small store with a large variety of beef jerky, merchandise, and other items. As you may know, this place is on a very busy strip, so most days you will have to pay for parking unless you know something I don't. Or if it's the Lords day. I'm sure a lot of people have been through this joint but if you haven't, try it because I didn't know I'm a beef jerky person. Just had to find the right ones for me. You're welcome jagoffs*!”

“I mean, what do you want me to say? It's a dollar general. They built it in 24 hours, you can get in and out in 60 seconds. But just like everything else in Washington, it reeks of stale cigarettes, day old booze, and depression.”
“They've been running low on products alot lately and taking a couple weeks before they restock them. When using the app for ordering somethings they will tell you out of stock while other items you don't no until they notify you later on in your email. Another thing they ued to make chocolate and lemon filled donuts and they don't make them anymore. Those are my favorite. Can't seem to find them anywhere. The fluff filled ones are really good though. They're donuts are really fresh.”
