“Chanticleer is an absolutely breathtaking space. Better than Longwood, in my opinion! Do not miss this garden in the Philadelphia area- it’s truly the best one!We love to head to Terrain afterwards (8 min drive away) for lunch and to browse garden goodies / souvenirs :)Picnic area: They have tables near the kitchen gardens for picnics!”

“I am just starting my journey. I received my box in the mail today and was so thankful. The chemo has dried out my sinuses and has left sores in my nose. The lavender stick in the box was a gift I didn't even realize I needed. It has soothed my sinuses so greatly. The other items in my box are also wonderful. When I'm healed, and my medical bills are paid off, I will be sending donations to this organization. Thank you so very much for this gift box! Sometimes it's the little things that makes the biggest impact!”
“We found this place by chance on a drive and we really enjoyed it. The place was opened to the public and there were volunteers at the entrance that were able to answer questions concerning the once private residence. The paths were very well managed and the gardens (even though still early spring) were lovely. Great place to relax and take in nature. We highly recommend.”

“Some much working expensive with coach by walking his side with David my coach I know for 4 years now it was a lot of happy very much Happy now . In 2022 my friend Hector me and him was always laughing on train, septa having conversations, me being a leader for students back to school. First I was very sad, depressed, and frustrated, and upset but I learn hard way to calm myself down with medicine was on help alot. That's my experience.”

“Our band recently had a gig here and they were very accommodating and the sound system was excellent. Unfortunately, they do not sell or offer food selections, but the bar is very reasonably priced. Also, there is smoking allowed in the building which is not a major issue, but I think they probably should make them go outside to smoke.”
“My family went for a Sunday swim day and they really enjoyed themselves. I got there a little later than everyone but really enjoyed watching my grandchildren have fun. I did get a chance to get in the pool which is a little small but clean. Nice place for families.”
“Saunders Woods Preserve is a 25-acre haven of tranquility for both wildlife and the Gladwyne community. Donated to Natural Lands in 1988 by Dorothy Saunders, the preserve was originally known as “Little Farm” and has long been a place of refuge. “It's small, but there's lot of variety at Hildacy. Trails, open fields of grass, streams...pretty much whatever natural spaces you're into. It's not a popular spot so you can expect some privacy even in summer. Free entrance and parking”

“Books Through Bars does excellent work in sending free book packages to inmates in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. They're completely volunteer-run & host volunteering sessions for people to help pick/pack books. Volunteer organizers are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend volunteering there! You can just drop in & spend 30 minutes or a few hours, whatever you like. Whenever I volunteer there, it feels like I'm really making a difference in someone's life -- because I am. It's an eye-opening experience that gives me a new perspective. Books Through Bars also takes donations (money, books they need, supplies) so there are lots of ways to support them even if you can't make it down there in person.”

“If you want to give your kids a lifelong love for the game please I implore you to sent them to Legacy. The program for munchkins are well designed for fun and also most importantly the fundamentals in the game. I’m very much impressed with the drills that are used on 4-7 year olds. I wished I had this as a child. The ratio of coach to kids were 1 to 4 on average depending on the day but not more than 1 to 6.”

“I recently completed an adult drawing class here with Jo Gamel. I loved the small class size and the balance between technical training and creative freedom. Masks and social distances are are practiced and class sizes are capped. When the weather allows we drew outside. Classes also available for children, illustration, pottery and painting for all levels.”

“I used to attend classes here regularly but it has been a couple years since I've been back. I recently sat in on a class that permitted guests on the final night and I have to say the class hosted by Yann was really excellent. I consider myself a French speaker but was happy to learn a few things from him, but moreover his overall manner of instruction created a great energy for the class and flow of information and interaction between the students and him. I highly recommend Alliance Francaise and if you're lucky enough to attend the class with Yann. I'm sure all the instructors are great.”
