“This store has the cutest little playhouse hidden in the back and an EXCELLENT supply of toys. I think it's the best I've ever seen in a local shop. They would have 5 stars just for that and for their personable employees, but the owner unlocked the bathroom five minutes before closing so my toddler could poop and she did it so kindly--I'm a shopper for life here now.”

They are so sweet and accommodating and hugely helpful when finding books or toys. I buys all of my kids toys here and they LOVE this store. The selection is incredible and perfectly curated to have wonderful options for everyone (especially diverse selection of POC authors!). The owner is fantastic and has saved us TWICE when my son left his lovey in her store. She knows my name and is so kind every time we go. Honestly nothing beats supporting this incredible local business. “So happy to welcome a Five Below to Newtown Square! It's a big, clean, well-lit space! I visited during their first week open this summer. They had an expanded art supplies section which I loved!!! No PHL sports team section at the time I visited but I spoke to the franchise owner and she took the feedback so she may have added (or will be adding) some of that. Most of all the standard stuff is there. It's about the size of the Morestown, NJ store.”

“I placed an order on November 28 and received timely email correspondence for confirmation of the order and when it was shipped. The items were shipped to Ontario, Canada and arrived on December 13. Shipping was quoted as 14-30 days so it was well under that estimate. I received exactly what I ordered in great condition. I felt a bit nervous making this purchase but the good reviews seemed consistent so I took the risk! I'm so happy I did. I was looking for two hard to find items and I am so please to have them now!! “Can't go wrong with an Admiral's club, even if it is a small one in Terminal F of the Philly airport. I was surprised they even had one here, and considering I had two hour lay over, why not. The refreshments were decent as well as the food. Not a large spread but just enough for a few hours to chill before final leg home.”

“Fantastic hot chicken at a great price. The coleslaw was delicious but the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were just ok. However, we really went for the chicken, so we were disappointed. The biscuits were delicious too, but real honey (rather than high frustose concoction) or packets of jam would have made them perfect. Overall, surprised at how good it was!”

“Great place for miniatures for your D&D type game. The owner will paint them for you if you want as well. He has some talent. I normally don't consider miniatures, but one really "called out to me" that looked like my D&D character "Donnie Darko" after playing with it with D&D there ages ago. I ended up not getting it unfortunately because I would've had to buy 4 miniatures because they came in a series pack, and I didn't want the other three. So, I just stuck with buying snacks there. But it is a great place to look for well crafted figurines and such.”

“A hidden gem in Havertown. This place is for adult collectors. I wouldn't recommend bringing children here, it is not geared toward little kids, most items are vintage and behind glass. I loved my experience there, I haven't been there recently, (but I enjoyed it pre-covid). My only criticism would be the lack of pricing on most items. It can be annoying having to pick up individual items and then asking for the price, I like knowing how much things are as I shop. I would recommend a visit!”

“Great place for kids toys, tons of books, household items, cleaning supplies, pet supplies, food, Christmas items, cards, automotive supplies, bedding, kitchen appliances, dish wear, cutlery items and cookware, carpet remnants, throw rugs, cat & dog toys accessories. They pretty much have a lot in the store. Remember this is a box store that receives overstocked, or store closing out of business etc. items from other stores. There is a constant turnover of items. If you see something that you want or need it’s best to go & get it. Some items sell out quickly because of the discounted prices. Cashiers are always pleasant and greet everyone. Plenty of parking & handicap parking and accessible.”

“I love BY...My son is now 29 and I shopped here for him when he was a baby! I have read quite a lot of the reviews on here and all I can say is that I have never had anything but a wonderful and positive experience shopping here!The last time I was in here shopping for my great nieces and nephew they stayed open for me way past the time when they were supposed to close...About 45 minutes past closing time and I never felt rushed...I kept apologizing and asking if it was ok, they were so patient and helpful and said it was no problem...To the woman who was insulted when the sales person asked her if she wanted her to place her items at the counter/register they do that with me too...That's kind of a standard thing in the retail/boutique industry. I was in it for many years and I would have offered the same thing if I saw someone with their arms full.I find it hard to shop when I have a lot of clothes and hangers in my arms...I have never once felt like it was anything but them trying to be helpful and free my hands and hold the items so no one else would take them...Yes, the clothes are pricey but you get what you pay for! I have never had anything fall apart as one reviewer wrote which is unfortunate but knowing how they are I am sure they would have allowed an exchange or a store credit or return back to the original form of payment if applicable...I will continue to shop here for many years to come and I understand that it may be out of people's budgets but they do have sales and I believe there is something here for everybody...These are beautifully made clothes and they could be passed down to lucky and fortunate siblings or cousins or friends to wear after your little person has outgrown them...Also, don't forget you are shopping in downtown Philly in Rittenhouse which is an area that has great restaurants and is it itself one of the nicest areas in Philly so this store fits rights into the neighborhood...I can't wait to shop there again!Lastly, I would say that their sales staff is one of the nicest, most helpful that I have ever encountered and I worked in the retail industry my whole life so don't shy away from shopping there!!
