“I absolutely love Retro on 8th! Popped in for the first time today and was incredibly, pleasantly surprised by the impressive selection. This is the kind of store I actively look for. It's perfectly curated, and is the kind of place you where you can make several passes and see something new every single time. Prices are fair. Quality is unsurpassed. Bought two Barcelona chairs and I could not be happier.”

“Ive been very fortunate to be tattooed by many talented artists, but haven’t had an experience like the one I had at Sanctuary. I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable with my tattoo artist (Ashley Karpa), who took on a project when she did not have to. She took the time to show me option, sizes, add on, placements, and arrangements before we even put the stencils on to make sure I was comfortable with it. The whole tattoo process went smoothly as ever. My arm doesn’t feel beat up or sore after a 2 1/2 hour session. But the reason I will return is Karpa’s energy. She’s just an all around good person who really cares about her clients. I’m already planning my next tattoo.”

“this store is my new favorite! i’ve only been here twice and each time i’ve found absolute treasures. not to mention, the company itself is founded on love for the community. i walked in yesterday and was greeted by the owner, Stephanie. and as i was walking around with my daughter and mother-in-law, i noticed they were playing Christian music on the overhead speakers . i felt the love of Christ here, and it’s a rarity nowadays to be in a small business that deeply shows genuine love and compassion for people and their needs. thank you Simply You!!”

“I meandered into Dr. Tumblety’s on a whimsy and was absolutely blown away. First I was welcomed with an introduction to the stores namesake and then given a tour of a few up and coming additions including a beautiful distillery and a speakeasy called The Storyville Lounge. The speakeasy was incredibly curated with beautiful vintage decor meticulously collected. I enjoyed their Sazerac and felt transported into a different time. This is an absolutely unique and welcoming hidden gem that deserves the main stage in Pittsburgh”

“Babcock antiques was easy to find. There was adequate parking the day we arrived. They have a few one-of-a-kind items. Prices however is on the high side for the items we were interested in. On the plus side they have some newly created sign art which we thought was reasonably priced.”

“Very well curated antique shop with unique finds. Found two really great pieces for my home. The owner was also great and we heard him helping a customers daughter with math that she had been learning in school(at the customers request). What a fun and memorable way for that child to learn. Super lovely vibe! Will definitely be back!”

“This is not only the greatest comic book store in Shaler but also in the North Hills and probably all of Pittsburgh. They have all of the current comic books as well as many other collectibles. They have a huge Funko Pop section at great prices usually on sale. If you have little kids or a man cave to decorate them check this place out. A great local business!”

“Lovey antique shop right outside of pittsburgh. WOW, was I impressed. Not only were the associates beyond helpful, they are quick to act. I found two items without prices and immediately the associate contacted the vendor. I was able to leave with both items that day for an awesome price. If you thrift, the average place will not sell you anything without a price tag. Not only will this store follow-up with its vendors, but they knew each one of them by name. That was so meaningful. As a vendor, you are generally overlooked and just a “number” for the business. My experience here really embraced the family feel and I am so happy I stopped. This will be a go to for me for years to come. 10/10!”

He even fixed another ring for me that have several diamond pieces missing, he supplied all the paperwork I needed for insurance purposes. He was very patient and accommodating.. This was the first time I was in the store, but hope to go back.”

“Le Mix is a really fun place to walk around. The artistry in how things are displayed give me take home ideas for my own home. It has a lot of really interesting finds. I love the glassware and kitchenware in the back. There is a lower level as well. The light fixtures would be worth investing in too. They have cameras, super 8s, vintage everything, art.”

“Well, this is a three floor structure of lots of things...packed into every available amount of thin walking lanes possible. Went there on a sunny day to allow for easy sunshine on the way in and the way out...it is a windowless tour once inside. Cudos to the workers and their ability to stay happy, engaging, and frugal. Seek and you might find something you like in this store or outside the store.”

“Very very very highly recommended. I am so happy, so impressed, so delighted with the work Time & Again did. I had two antique dressers (which belonged to my grandparents and had great sentimental value) repaired and touched up. The end result is beyond my wildest expectations. Absolutely beautiful work. These are people with real expertise who do quality work (and put in the extra effort) while also being darn nice to work with and never being pushy. They listened to my wishes and did a thorough inspection of the project with me. They explained well and offered options/recommendations within my budget. And then they did a TOTALLY AMAZING job. I truly never imagined that this furniture could look so good. Could not be more pleased.”
