“We booked a fishing adventure for my son's 12th birthday. They handled all the arrangements and Sara was so patient answering my millions of questions. On the day-of, Mel and Dan were friendly, helpful and communicative. They brought everything we needed for my son and his 7 friends to enjoy fishing for a few hours. The location in North Park was beautiful and perfect. It was even wheelchair accessible for our friend who had a broken leg. Thank you Venture Outdoors for a memory my son won't soon forget!”

I did not know places like this existed. All I can say is I was blessed and I think God that people who are willing to give their time to help people in need. They are wonderful.”
“They don't take my insurance so they provide me FREE COUNSELING, with someone who is going for a higher degree and doing clinicals or something to that effect. What ever it is and however it works out its good. I get counseling once a week online. And this is the most comfortable I've been with a counselor in years. It's way better than alot of places my insurance paid for. And the staff are very nice and helpful and supportive.”

“Coming from someone who runs a lot of marathons across the US, the Pittsburgh Marathon is by far the most organized, the most entertaining, and has the best course. The live music, cheering sections, and route that allows for family/friends to watch from multiple places throughout the race really makes this event awesome!”

“What a wonderful group of people, many of whom are volunteers. We talked, laughed and got to know each other in a matter of minutes.
I had old paint, LOTS OF IT. I made an appointment through City Environmental Services, drove up on Saturday morning and was amazed at the kindness, friendliness and the efficiency of the people who unloaded 30 -cans of old paint from the back of my car in two minutes. I'll never forget the father from St. Louis visiting his daughter for the weekend. She was a volunteer for the hazardous waste event. He willingly spent the morning helping out too.
Thank you PRC and all those great folks who made what could have been an onerous task easy and delightful.

She has jumped through hoops to assist my mom, even helping her get a gas leak fixed. ( as my mom took cold baths for over 2 months). I HIGHLY recommend this organization and all they do for the seniors and down and out. LeaEtta has been an absolute blessing. How did we get so lucky! ❤️”

As bad as the credit part of the program annoyed me I am happy that I finally got it under control. I enjoyed volunteering especially at the build sites and learning different things about the home.
