“On my first day, I took a yoga class that I was able to experience for free as a non-member. They even had a skating event going onat the same time that didn't disturb any other programs. It was engaging, freeing, and open hearted to be apart of a community that accepts you with open arms. I signed up my family up with a membership the same week and look forward to attending many more programming.”

Edit Aug 5: I always come here each time I visit Pittsburgh. The ladies inside are extremely friendly. I was so grateful with happiness that Edgar had been adopted. I saw 2 other kitties when I was there a couple weeks ago. Scout and Harper were beautiful cats that will hopefully find their furever homes by the time I go back in October.
The 2 volunteers inside were beyond wonderful people. The location has 3 rooms which resemble a thrift store selling collectables with outstanding prices. I purchased a volunteer made flat bed as well as a volunteer made cat nip toy for my cat. My cat loved both.
I recommend Animal Advocates so very much. I met a wonderful cat named Edgar when I visited. I’m so very grateful to the volunteers for helping the animals, donating their time and energy all while keeping this location so very beautiful inside.”
“Coming from someone who runs a lot of marathons across the US, the Pittsburgh Marathon is by far the most organized, the most entertaining, and has the best course. The live music, cheering sections, and route that allows for family/friends to watch from multiple places throughout the race really makes this event awesome!”
“They don't take my insurance so they provide me FREE COUNSELING, with someone who is going for a higher degree and doing clinicals or something to that effect. What ever it is and however it works out its good. I get counseling once a week online. And this is the most comfortable I've been with a counselor in years. It's way better than alot of places my insurance paid for. And the staff are very nice and helpful and supportive.”

“We booked a fishing adventure for my son's 12th birthday. They handled all the arrangements and Sara was so patient answering my millions of questions. On the day-of, Mel and Dan were friendly, helpful and communicative. They brought everything we needed for my son and his 7 friends to enjoy fishing for a few hours. The location in North Park was beautiful and perfect. It was even wheelchair accessible for our friend who had a broken leg. Thank you Venture Outdoors for a memory my son won't soon forget!”

“Went to the Center for hearing and deaf to purchase some Hearing devices for a client. The worker was very nice and answered my questions, she alerted that they had resources to help people in need. Then showed me how to use the devices so I can assist my client how to use them. Very informative and helpful. Very nice experience.”

The staff were always pleasant do deal with and very clear in explaining everything. Honesty, No Surprises, Detailed monthly statements of progress. A clear plan out of debt. I was very pleased with the whole process and would recommend them to anyone in credit trouble. It became automatic and over the course of the plan everyone got paid and my credit quickly recovered.”
