“They made the process very simple at the start and handled the situation respectfully. No one is proud of being buried in debt and shame wouldn't help. The staff were always pleasant do deal with and very clear in explaining everything. Honesty, No Surprises, Detailed monthly statements of progress. A clear plan out of debt. I was very pleased with the whole process and would recommend them to anyone in credit trouble. It became automatic and over the course of the plan everyone got paid and my credit quickly recovered.”
“I like this place a lot but I have a problem with the card fee on EVERY CARD. It is not legal to charge debit cards 3 percent. I realize this place does a lot of good but it still annoys me so I bring cash. Staff is always delightful and I always find something good. They have an entire dress section upstairs”
“this is one of my favorite thrift stores. all the money goes to helping animals, you can adopt a cat here as the upstairs houses cats for adoption, all of the volunteers are very nice n go above n beyond, and the prices are unbeatable. I don't want to write this great review because I want to be greedy n keep this gem for myself but they truly deserve to be recognized for the glorious job they do.”

“Creative Reuse is my favorite place on Earth. It is SO easy to find tons of strange, interesting and rare items here that one otherwise wouldn't be able to find elsewhere! I go almost every month to stock up on random cassette tapes to see what's on them (some great indie music finds here if you dig around), newspaper clippings and as many vintage Pittsburgh magnets possible. If you like crafts and unconventional decorations, this place is definitely for you!
Also, everyone that works here is super nice and the prices are usually super reasonable. Every bad review saying otherwise has either never stepped foot in Creative Reuse or are people who don't believe retail employees deserve respect. This is a store that should never go away!”
“I was greeted by a friendly guy telling me to sign my name and giving directions to get my taxes done for free. I was made to feel like I mattered. Thank you for that. I filled out a paper. It was passed on to the tax preparer. Who got it done in less than 30 minutes. I was amazed. They know their stuff and check each other's work. Awesome people and friendly ?☺️ Thank you all!!! ☺️”

“Coming from someone who runs a lot of marathons across the US, the Pittsburgh Marathon is by far the most organized, the most entertaining, and has the best course. The live music, cheering sections, and route that allows for family/friends to watch from multiple places throughout the race really makes this event awesome!”
“We booked a fishing adventure for my son's 12th birthday. They handled all the arrangements and Sara was so patient answering my millions of questions. On the day-of, Mel and Dan were friendly, helpful and communicative. They brought everything we needed for my son and his 7 friends to enjoy fishing for a few hours. The location in North Park was beautiful and perfect. It was even wheelchair accessible for our friend who had a broken leg. Thank you Venture Outdoors for a memory my son won't soon forget!”

“They don't take my insurance so they provide me FREE COUNSELING, with someone who is going for a higher degree and doing clinicals or something to that effect. What ever it is and however it works out its good. I get counseling once a week online. And this is the most comfortable I've been with a counselor in years. It's way better than alot of places my insurance paid for. And the staff are very nice and helpful and supportive.”
“My daughter was very sick and we couldn't figure out why. It was incredible. They were thorough and quick thinking. They were so nice to her she almost didn't want to leave. By the end of our 4 day stay my little peanut told me when she grows up she wants to work there. I was so impressed with all the staff. Thank you for everything.”

Then showed me how to use the devices so I can assist my client how to use them. Very informative and helpful. Very nice experience.”

“These absolutely lovely people are genuine angels on Earth. They gave me two boxes worth of food and inside one box was produce and pantry the other box had meat and produce they gave me enough for probably the whole month as a person with a disability it's difficult for me to go shopping even with an attendant so having a place like this where I can go once a month and get food for the month is absolutely wonderful and I thank God for these people they are genuine angels and I absolutely love them.”
