βEvery time I have to go there, which is fairly often, since I have three dogs, the staff is helpful, very knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to accommodate any needs or requests. While I think all of the veterinarians that have seen my dogs for various things have been wonderful, Dr. Chick is amazing. She goes above and beyond to help your pet, whatever the problem. She really cares and it shows.β

βI want to thank Dr. Kiser for neutering my male cat Mochi last year and now doing a dental with a few extractions on my female cat Alli Jane (AJ). AJ is recovering well so far like it never happened! Their prices did go up a bit, but the cost was still reasonable overall.β

βMy Goldendoodle, Blue, developed a severe bacterial infection around his groin and back leg. The rash was extremely red and irritated, and we were very concerned about him.
My husband and I are fairly new to the area, and our previous veterinarian was quite far away. I called three different veterinary offices, but unfortunately, none of them could fit Blue in.
When I called Penn Animal Hospital, they were able to schedule an appointment for Blue within just a few hour's. The receptionist was kind, compassionate, and helpful, which meant so much to us during such a stressful situation.
When we arrived, we were taken to an exam room right away. The veterinary technician took their time to discuss Blue’s symptoms and medical history thoroughly. When Dr. Travis came in to examine Blue, he was patient and never made us feel rushed. He carefully addressed all of our concerns and clearly explained Blue’s treatment plan, including the medications he would receive and the proper dosage's.
My husband and I are so grateful that Penn Animal Hospital was able to see Blue so quickly and help him when we needed it most. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our sweet boy! 💙🐾🫶β
βTook both of my cat's here for check ups in the span of two weeks. I was extremely satisfied with their prices and care my cat's received. The vet is very knowledgeable and goes through every option with you. There aren't any spaces for your cat or animal to crawl under and hide while in the examination room. They accept Care Credit which is a plus when you may encounter a more costly visit unexpectedly. They offer a cat only day for cat's that are frightened of dogs or whatever the case. Definitely one of the best vets I've been to in the city and will continue receiving care for my fur babies here!β
βThey were very kind and took care of my dog like it ,was there own pet. The staff was good with my dog. Maggie really good I thought I'd have a hard time getting her back there but she surprised me. βMy two senior dogs have had major health problems since moving to Pittsburgh last year. All the staff are caring, kind, and trustworthy. I cannot give enough positive praise to Dr. Natalie. She treated my dogs like her own; her love of animals really shines through. She stays up to date on the science/research in the field, and is very thorough explaining possible causes and treatment avenues. Thank you to Dr. Natalie and the ANVH staff for caring for my dogs and providing the best care.β
βWe love Dr. Brenneman. Our dogs always dread going to the vet but Dr. Brenneman is so good with them! Offering them treaties and giving head scratches! All the staff is very friendly and willing to help! We moved 40 min away and still choose to take our fur babies here!β
βFastest, best, and most affordable care I have ever gotten for my kitties. 10/10 will go here again for the next time my kitty needs help. I will also be recommending this place to every cat owner I know. I was in and out in under an hour but still got the most quality care. Dr. Elnahal is a cat healer.β

βVERY CARING PLACE. TOOK OUR MARLEY IN TODAY AND SHE WAS SEEN BY DR AARON. HE WALKED IN AND UNDERSTOOD THE NATURE OF OUR DOG WITHIN SECONDS AND DROPPED DOWN ON THE FLOOR AND SAT TO RELEAVE ANY STRESS THAT SHE HAD. SHES A 90 LB GERMAN SHEPHERD WHO HAS A LOT OF ANXIETY WITH OTHER MALES. DR AARON DID GREAT AT ASSESSMENT SHE HAS A YEAST INFECTION ON HER BELLY AND BACK WE WERE TREATED WITH THE UP MOST RESPECT AND ALL OF THE STAFF DID GREAT SHE EVEN GOT HER NAILS DONE. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR VISIT THANKS GUYSβ
βI've been coming here for a few months now and everyone is so extremely kind and actually listens to my concerns about my pets, not to mention, the pricing here is phenomenal, I've never been to a more affordable vet where the doctors and technicians are extremely knowledgeable and always know what they're talking about! They gave me so much helpful advice when I came in as a first time owner of a new puppy, and I even left with a kong just for her. I don't usually write reviews, but my pets are one of the most important things in my life, and having a vet that takes such good care of them is something I have to spread the word on.β
βWe went in for what we thought was a sprain ankle for my St. Bernard Great Dane turns out they diagnosed her with cancer. They were very compassionate and guided us through the next step. Unfortunately it spread to fast and we end up putting her to sleep. But everyone there was wonderful would highly recommend them. We were skeptical going back there at first since Dr. Gordon left. But all the new Dr.s are wonderful so much better than the ones that were there 2 yrs ago. No bedside manner rush you out. I am so thankful White Oak vet is back to what they used to be.β
βI went in for our usual annual exam to find out my abusive ex had abandoned our dog there so he didn't have to pay and id be left with no way of paying because he cut off all the funds, then set up the appointments of course.
These women were so kind and I didn't feel embarrassed for anyone but him. He kept the cat that's still in my care. We were in and out and they handled it with so much care and empathy. And the dog was great as usual.β
βHad a vet appointment today at riverside veterinary clinic today. First the receptionist was very accommodating with setting up and also rescheduled because I had to cancel my first appointment. When I arrived today they were very helpful and helped me with carrying my cat into the examining room which is difficult for me because I am on oxygen. Dr Mirro was very thorough. He checked temperature, ears, listened to his lungs and did xrays. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was a lot lower than expected. Will continue bringing our pets to this clinic.β

βI was looking for a vet that acted like a Vet and not a greedy money machine. These dog doctors think they are high classed and better than we are . So I was told about Penn Hills Veterinary, the Dr there is fantastic and he does what vets should do. Care about the patient, not about money. He didn't need X-rays and blood tests cause he is so good at his job he already knew what was wrong with my poor boy, that all the other vets in the area of Lower Burrell wouldn't even touch till I gave them 300 dollars. I hope you all start calling him because your dog is gonna be so much happier and healthier, plus my RX for my dog was right there. I was so upset from being treated like crap from the other Vets in our area that I owe him a debt of gratitude and the life of my dog, who was to old for me to get insurance on when I got him from my daughter who almost died in a car wreck. Thanks so much for being a wonderful human being and caring about ppl not moneyβ

Iβve been to other vets when I lived in other cities, and I am glad to be home with Point Breeze Vet!β
βI've been taking my cat, Johnny White Shoes, to the Cat Clinic since 2022 when I moved to Bloomfield. Though I've moved outside of Pittsburgh, I still take my cat back for checkups and to pick up his prescription food.
All of the staff there are fantastic, and Valerie still remembers me from when I used to live in Bloomfield, even though I only show up once every 3-4 months to pick up Johnny's food (even barring when I once ordered his food online due to my own illness). I'm sure they see a lot of people and cats, and I wouldn't expect it, but to be remembered is very nice!
All of the staff are awesome and clearly love what they do, and I've never had a single complaint! The atmosphere is great, everyone is kind, and they've got lots of little extra things for your kitty to love. To find a place like the Cat Clinic is rare, and I hope they continue to have lots of business over many more years.β
βI cannot recommend this team enough (and should have left this review sooner)! Doctor Sarah and the entire Hart's Run team is not only compassionate towards both your pet AND you as the pet-parent, but skilled in their craft and an absolute asset to their community.
Not only did they accommodate my schedule, they accommodated my family's situation with multiple pets AND assisted me with not only a budget-friendly solution, but also provided education and supplies for follow-up home care.
As silly as it might sound, I can get frantic when it comes to our fur-babies, and others have brushed me off or gotten annoyed with me because of that. Thankfully, ALL of the members of the HRVH team showed nothing short of care, concern and patience for me and my fur-babies throughout the entire visit.
As an added bonus, the office is just lovely; comfortable and adorned with photos of the team's own fur-babies.
Please don't hesitate to call the HRVH team if you need help. I drove from an hour away for this care and would do it again <3β

βDr. Sweeney is the most excellent vet. My husband takes my 3 kitties to him. He is so friendly on the phone with me, accommodating with our schedule, and has great instincts and knowledge treating our cats. I even recruited a friends chiuawah!β
βA few years ago I brought my senior cat into this clinic for the first time; he was very, very sick and I was so scared that I was going to lose him, but thanks to this place I was given 4 more years with my boy. Even though it's not an emergency clinic everyone on staff rolled out everything they could in order to help and kept me comforted in that scary time. Edgebrook was my first choice and will forever be the only place I trust to care for my beloved pets.
