“Plato’s has a nice selection of clothing, and I’m often impressed by the things I can find for my daughter. She’s 12 and very tall for her age, so it can be challenging to find women’s clothing that fits her well, but this store usually has great options.
During my last visit, I tried on a dress and mentioned to an employee that it would be helpful to have a small table or spot in the fitting rooms to place things like a phone, keys, or sunglasses, since I don’t carry a purse. The employee explained that the fitting rooms are small and there’s no space, but there is a larger fitting room at the end with a bench that I’ve used before and really liked. I also suggested something simple, like a small hanging caddy on the hooks.
It felt like the employee (JA on the receipt) didn’t really want to hear any suggestions and just brushed me off. It would have been nice if my feedback had been acknowledged a little more openly.
Overall, I appreciate the store and the variety of clothing, but I think there’s an opportunity to improve the fitting room experience, especially for customers who prefer not to carry a bag.”

“LET ME TELL YOU ... Britt Allen is an absolute SAVIOR. I had a date night emergency at closing time and I called the store in a panic needing boots and my girl delivered!!! She picked out the cutest pair - IN MY SIZE - stayed open a little longer for my husband to go swoop them up and it made my night and outfit perfect!!! I've consigned here for years now and I will 100% say I will never take my items or find my little gem closet pieces anywhere else. These girls are so sweet and keep the store looking amazing all the time. I cannot say enough on how great this shop is. DEFINITELY GO CHEK IT OUT! ?”

“The only thing I don't like about this place is they seal the DVD cases, so you're not able to check the condition of the discs before buying them. They also bundle groups of DVDs, so you're forced to buy ones that you don't want to get one that you do want, and even then you're gambling that the disc is in good enough condition to make it worth buying.”

“Coupons help. They seem to provide some every time I shop there but you need to watch the dates. I thought style cash was available but it doesn’t take effect until 7/29 . The disappointment came with a surprise however, because I then asked if they honored a military discount which they apparently do. 10% off of everything was very helpful . “I usually have a pretty good experience here, but recently, one of the employees made me feel really guilty for not “rounding up” for their big corporate charity. Apparently Me saying I don’t want to round up wasn’t enough this shaved head 17-year-old girl just kept going on and on about how it will help etc.. I told her I only donate to charities where I know 100% of the proceeds will go to charity and will not go to a big tax write off, like what the hot topic charity would do. Instead of ringing me up, I was forced to endure a bunch of guilt, tripping drama about how I should donate to children with cancer after I had already told her that I do not want to donate to hot topic for my own ethical reasons. This did not satisfy her. She kept talking and talking. I was trying my best to be polite, but my mother was there and my mother is not one to say anything but she was about to tell the girl to please just ring me up and let us leave. I feel like the interaction of ringing up two items took a total of 25 minutes. I was left feeling like she thought I was dumb, and a bad person for not donating to a big corporate Charity. Not everyone has the money to round up. but either way, my intent was to help charities, and it still was not good enough for her. When you employ people, could you please tell them not to get on their social angel drama thinking that everyone around them are stupid and do not care about the world issues simply because they don’t want to “round up”. ?”

“We were there to find Boot for my brother. We have a hard time finding boots in other places. The person came over started asking him question being very helpful. Brought one pair of shoes they didn't fit quite and than bought a different style and cut. They were perfect. My brother was so happy. This place is worth the trip.”
