“I absolutely love the Dog Stop at Wexford. It’s the only place I trust with my German Shepherd. She loves it there. When I have to go out of town and leave her, she gets to meet new dogs and play. They take such good care of her. I get to see her anytime I want through the camera. Also I get her groomed there. She used to go to Kim who was such an angle with her. Kim is taking some time off right now. So she is with Rachel who we absolutely love. She is so patient with her takes such good care of my baby. Always looking great after her bath, hair cut, and nail trim. The entire staff is just amazing. I tried different places and I absolutely hated it. Would never go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend The Dog Stop at the Wexford location to all my Family and friends.”

I was expecting the prices to be higher, but they are actually a bit cheaper than most other stores in the Pittsburgh area. We got to meet the owner, very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I can't wait to go back.”

“I recommend Leone's to everyone I talk to about pets. More often than not, their prices on food are lower than the big franchise stores and the online sites. Plus, they offer incentive programs for many brands. We get our 13th bag of dry food or case of wet food free. Also, you couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable staff. They truly care about the well being of their customers' pets. On two separate occasions, George and staff have recommended dietary changes for my pets (one dog and one cat) that have saved or prolonged their lives. This was after vets were doing all they could medically. The only negative that I could possibly think to mention is that sometimes their toys are priced higher than online stores. But with the savings in buying food it definitely doesn't bother me. I still occasionally buy toys there because they are super cute and I can't find them anywhere else.”

“Healthy Pet Products currently has four locations--three in the Pittsburgh area and one in Florida. The stores sell premium foods, treats, and supplies for dogs, cats, and small pets. I usually purchase pet products from national retailers such as Chewy, Petsmart, Amazon, and Target, but I felt interested in investigating the Healthy Pet Products store in the North Hills. When I entered the store, an employee immediately greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I looked around the store for many minutes. I found lots of unique products that I had not seen at other retailers. I saw many brands and types of foods and treats (e.g., bagged, canned, frozen, freeze-dried, raw, and grain-free) in many flavors (e.g., chicken, beef, duck, lamb, rabbit, turkey, and venison). I also saw many types of toys, health supplements, hygiene products, grooming supplies, leashes and collars, etcetera. I decided to buy three treats for my dog--turkey, beef and lamb, and bacon ice cream. A second employee immediately noticed me at the cash register, greeted me, accurately scanned my products and processed my payment, and thanked me. So far, I have given two of the treats to my dog, and she happily wagged her tail as she ate all of the treats. Tip: Check out the Healthy Pet Products website for sales and coupons.”

“We have two leashes with leash pouches and two dog beds from this company amongst other items of clothing. We honestly couldn't be happier. The beds make travel so much easier as everything folds up neatly into one contained space and allows us to just unzip when we arrive at our destination. The leashes are recycled climbing rope and are so soft but durable. We also LOVE the leash bag because it holds all of our personal belongings when on a walk with our furry friends. We will probably buy one of everything Spruce makes, can't recommend them enough!”

“Best prices on bird seed, You can save a lot by buying here, without sacrificing quality. They also have chicken feed, pet food and garden supplies. The staff is friendly and helpful. I noticed some of the print on the shelf labels is tiny. I'm sure a number of senior citizens would be unable to read them. There is ample parking near the entrance. I discovered this store at Home Depot, a shopper there said the bird seed at Agway is much more reasonably priced. She was right!”

“The store was a little underwhelming for the size of the location. I was expecting there to be more items for cats. I was there using a $5 off coupon and they didn't have much of anything. Pretty bummed about that. I'm used to going to the one in East Liberty. Which is very small. I'm sure they have whatever people need if they're still open.”

“Great store to buy your outdoor needs and animal products. They have miscellaneous specials on tools and other products to use around the house. Clothing line is limited but does offer gear to keep you warm and comfortable while working outside. They also offer a wide variety of fun vehicles for kids including go-karts and small four wheelers. They have a large selection of trailers and all your trailer hitch accessories. In the summer they offer a nice variety of bird selection at such as chickens and ducks.”
