“Let me start off by saying I am not mechanically inclined so hardware stores are like going into a different country for me. I had taken my snowblower in to be serviced as when I lived in Ohio it was in storage and last winter here was mild. Prior to taking it in Inhad tried new gas and the electric start...nothing. Luckily I dropped it off Sunday and got it back today. Service was great, price was fair, and they did a great job quickly. One thing to be noted is if you have a repair or need salt - use the back alley.”

Called in and was helped out by Rylan and Kyin, couldn't be happier with the service (wish there were more stars to be honest). Polite, informative, and very professional. “Hastings is the FIRST PLACE I go for commonly needed items -electrical, plumbing, bird food and feeders, household cleansers, or nuts, bolts and pull chain lamp sockets. Everyone in there offers to help you find what you need. The gentleman in electrical department found a new cane tip for me, used brute strength to pull the worn one off and applied the new! What’s not to love about Hastings!!”
“As maligned as it was in years past, harbor freight is a great resource. Despite it's reputation for shoddy quality, I've had next to no problems with their tools and miscellaneous products, including a utility pump that's run flawlessly and much longer than it's had any right to considering I've pushed it well beyond it's stated purpose.”

Once they found the items pricing was fair and availability was same day. I will continue to use construction tool services for all my tool needs. “UPDATE:They arranged to pick up our pressure washer and ship it to their facility to fix it. They kept us informed on what they found and the actions they were making to fix it. They had the pressure washer shipped back to us. We will be testing this weekend to see if the problem has been resolved. We appreciate them taking actions to correct our concerns.
If i could give zero stars I would. First experience was shipping delays. Said it would ship within 10 days and it took over a month, almost 2. We called them every week for an update, was told it would ship Friday. Monday checked for tracking information and there was no update. Called again, only for them to repeat the same story over and over for weeks. Felt very scripted.
Once we finally received the pressure washer it seized up the first time we used it for our small business. Wouldn't start after using it for an hour. Weren't able to finish the customers job. Contacted this company about the issues with the machine and told me to contact one of their warranty service providers. What a joke! They gave me a list of about 5 service companies. All 9f them couldn't even look at it for over 4-6 weeks. The one shop that was available had us drop it off and it sat there for over 2 weeks. They said they couldn't get it to duplicate the issue. Got it back and it's done the same thing at 2 more jobs. I'd avoid this company!”

“We purchased a new storm door and had it installed by Lowe's; we love our full view door. JC came out to measure the door, Cody helped us order it. The first door arrived cracked but the second door was perfect. Cody was kind and very patient while I was deciding on the door and hardware. JC did a great job with the installation! The only negative was there is a small disconnect with the installer receiving the information that the item was delivered and ready for install. I called Lowes to see if the item arrived, then they forwarded the information to the installer and the installer called me pretty quickly. This happened with the first broken door and the second perfect door. I also hate to be connected to corporate Lowe's...I prefer talking to individual Lowe's I'm dealing with. I love the door so much, I thought about giving 5 stars but those little issues definitely made the process less than perfect.”

“Great local hardware store in Oakdale. Sometimes you need the big box hardware store, but sometimes the small local hardware store is best. It's good to support a store you can walk to, has knowledgeable people working there and they usually have what you need. It's a throwback to the way it used to be. Saves time and supports your hometown.”

The other stores in the area are so bad that I've gone in, sought help or specific products, and I leave to come to this Home Depot each time, the only one that's worthy.”
“Rollier's Hardware is the best hardware store in Pittsburgh. They have a great selection, friendly and helpful staff and parking right behind the store in the heart of Mt. Lebanon. They have an extensive holiday selection of lights, trees and wreaths as well as interior holiday decor and candy. Definitely worth a visit.”

“I was very happy with the help and service I received at this Fastenal Company, they were able to get me exactly what I needed in under 3 days. I was happy with their willingness to work with the smaller quantity of hardware that I needed. Other stores (Lowes, HD, Rolliers) that I would have thought would be able to help were very rigid and wouldn't help me out but these guys were interested in getting me what I needed fast.”
“The cashier is smoking a cigarette at the register with a big smile on his face meanwhile there's a live raccoon in a raccoon trap that they're selling in the store. They also had all the goofy brass fittings that I couldn't find anywhere else. Yeah ah this place is pretty interesting.”

If you weren’t from the area and didn’t know any better, it would be very understandable that you drove past it because there’s only 1 sign that is visible to tell people it’s there and it’s not in the best location!”
