“Our Member’s 1st branch is the Market Plaza Branch due to an outstanding Member Service Representative II by the name of Martin Littleton. In December 2024 our bank account and credit cards were hacked and compromised. Needless to say, this was very stressful! We were greeted by a service representative who identified himself as Martin with a firm handshake and assurance that he would take good care of us. He listened attentively, asked appropriate questions regarding the hacking of our accounts then preceded to lay a plan on how to protect our old accounts while opening new accounts. He contacted others within Member’s 1st on our behalf to bring the desired resolution. My wife and I were relieved knowing that this dire situation was being resolved. Martin followed up with us several times after our initial meeting to check in and provide updates. We are very pleased to be a member of Members 1st and especially pleased to having worked with Martin.”

“Better than the downtown branch because this one is actually open Monday through Saturday. Typical Mid Penn Bank, not going to impress by any means, but this branch is pretty good. In and out with relative ease and never (that I've seen) too busy. The bank as a whole (hole) is not great. Antiquated business banking system online and horrible loan products. I'm only a customer here by default since Riverview Bank was bought by these guys. I'd definitely bank elsewhere given the choice.”

“I had a frustrating issue with a loan that was transferred from First Harvest Credit Union, which resulted in erroneous reporting and a drastic drop in my credit score. Trying to get this resolved was stressful, and I was extremely disappointed with how the situation was initially handled.
However, I have to give Lisa Painter a huge amount of credit for her professionalism, diligence, and dedication. If it weren’t for her persistence and attention to detail, this issue would not have been resolved. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything was corrected, and I’m completely grateful for her efforts.
Because of Lisa’s exceptional customer service, I’ve decided not to press further issues with this bank. While my experience with the loan transfer process was frustrating, her help made all the difference. Thank you, Lisa!”

“Dealt with them couple years ago. Great experience so I decide to give them a try when I needed to raise my limit on my home equity loan that I had already in place with another institution. Even though my home value increase significantly since the first home equity loan was taken out, my bank (at that time) still did not qualify me for any additional amount even though a higher amount was quoted earlier.So I decided to give members first a try since they proved themselves in the past, and again they came through with a blazing glory. They actually increased my line of credit 60% more from the old institution’s original line of credit amount! That’s a big increase and that’s the amount I was expecting based on my credit score and the increase value of my home. They saved a vacation house deal I would have lost if they didn’t come through.There was a small miscommunication during the transaction but this was completely resolved by management in literally 30 minutes (including the call back with the good news.)Looking at their mission statement, they literally put their members first. Thanks again for your great customer service. We will be switching our old banks’ accounts from the old institution to members first in the near future.”
