“No one likes having to make an unexpected purchase when an appliance, especially the refrigerator stops working. Jacob did an amazing job working with me, listening to what I wanted and talking me through the purchase. I have never purchased a refrigerator without having inspected it, let alone in 20 minutes, but I feel confident that I’m going to love this when it is delivered on Thursday. Jacob researched what I had and compared what was different and better. It was a pleasant purchase experience. He was relatable and just a really nice guy.
I purchased a dishwasher there awhile back and was not misled about the features and am happy with that purchase too. While I’m not anxious to have another appliance fail me in the near future, when that time comes I will be going to Don’s.”

We stopped by Dormont appliance and met our salesperson Wayne. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. After speaking with him and going over a few things we were told by other stores salesman about some products, it was a clear we found the store where we wanted to spend our money. They had the best overall price for the washer and dryer we bought. Easy no pressure purchase, and easy quick delivery! Definitely top of our list for any future appliance purchases! “My dad used Home Life Appliances for repairs and replacements. Months before he passed away, he handed me their card and told me to use them if I ever needed a repair when I took over his house. I trusted my dad. When my somewhat old washing machine stopped spinning, I gave them a call. The owner was able to come out the following week (today). Setting up the appointment with the receptionist was easy and she gave me a clear idea of what it would probably cost, stressing that I would be informed and free to make a decision if it might go over that price. I also explained that I would not be home during the time the owner would be coming over and we worked something out where a relative would meet him at the house. Everything worked out smoothly and they had everything fixed before I returned home. The price was fair. I felt that the service was honest. My only regret is that I wasn't there to thank the owner for his work. I truly appreciate small businesses like this and the skills and knowledge of the owner. Thank you. You helped during a very stressful time. Clean socks are awesome too.”

“I called to purchase a price gun after Grok AI suggested using them. It was suggested they'd be a better choice to make sure i could finally get a quality product. When i went to order a recommended gun, Beth discovered I already had a broken Monarch 1131 at my store. She suggested I send it in for repair at which point they'd send me a new one upon receipt. I saved money, got excellent customer service and now have a new connection to relieve my price gun stress...I price a lot of stuff and their guidance gives me confidence they will have my back from here on out. I plan on using them at every opportunity I can for supplies and such.”
