“All the employees were friendly and made sure I found everything I needed. Great prices as well. As a do it yourself, non professional, the tools here are just what I need.”
“Bob's Affordable Painting Since 1991 LLC, I was in the area doing a Contract but the house had no electric on a hot day no less, so I purchased a battery operated fan and luckily Ace Hardware had one in stock ?”
“Ritter has friendly service with a smile. This old-time lumberyard takes me back to being a kid and going to the local yard with my, grandfather or uncle. They great you with a smile. If your are a repeat customer, you are also greeted by name. Experience is the key. Ritter lumber has seen it all. If I am fixing a more modern built home, they know the answers. Even when I have worked on properties built in the 1800's the knowledge and know-how is there to match styles as well as techniques used in building in that time period. Even if I have to spend a few extra dimes to get the job done, it is always worth the extra. How many 25 year olds working at the big discount places can even begin to explain what kind of wood and trim stylings were used in a Victorian? Ritter can!Sincerely,Eddie Biegaj”
“We recently moved into our home in East Stroudsburg. The kitchen cabinets and countertops were a disaster. We had a company, Kitchen Magic, come in and give us an estimate. They were going to build our cabinets and the fronts were made of painted laminate doors, and they gave us only a couple of designs. Their estimate came back at $56,000 for the Kitchen cabinets ONLY. My wife & I almost had a heart attack. We paid that much to re-do our entire kitchen (down to the studs), re-do the main bathroom (down to the studs), installed new Marvin windows, installed new PVC siding and installed a 35-head lawn sprinkler in our New Jersey home.We then called Blue Ridge Kitchen & Baths to come in and give us an estimate. Jeff showed up promptly. He was very professional and we went over a couple of kitchen cabinet scenarios and ideas. We showed him the counter-tops we wanted. Jeff and Dee Dee were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We've had kitchens done on our previous homes in the past, but this was by far the best experience we ever had. Jeff came out and did the measurements and Dee Dee set up the computer drafting of the kitchen cabinets and countertops. We found they had Silestone quartz countertops like we had in our previous home, and had them install it for us. Silestone doesn't scratch, burn, or stain and you can lay hot pots on it without any problems. Once we got the layout done, Jeff gave us the estimate. It was more than half off from the first company.Jeff said they'd start 3 weeks before Thanksgiving, and it would take 2 weeks to gut the cabinets and countertops and install everything new. Well, their installer, Ron, is a master cabinet technician. I watched the guy work and compared him to the cabinet installer in my previous house. Ron, was way more expertised and he even made recommendations to do certain things to make our cabinets easy to navigate. He was meticulous and very clean, even with a lot of dust being kicked up. The counter-top pros came in once the cabinets were installed and it fit tightly and perfectly. It took Ron 12 days from start to finish (he put in the block backsplash between the kitchen cabinets and countertops in 2 days). My wife and I were really impressed with their work, as we've had a few homes done and watched the installers work. Ron was by far the best installer I've ever seen. I can't thank Jeff, Ron, DeeDee and Blue Ridge Lumber Kitchen & Baths for a beautiful, professional and clean job they did. I'd recommend them with the highest regard to anyone who wants their kitchen, or their cabinets and counter-tops done.”
“These gentlemen always solve my problems.
They know what they are doing.
Their pricing is most always better than the big box stores.
Thanks for all the help with my duck pond pump/filter problems.”
“Close and convenient. It's much better than a trip to the big box stores. Best place to find unique parts and pieces others don't have. Rigo's is what a hardware store was before the mega-sizing. Attentive owner and staff. It's definitely worth a look before you head to the Giants.”
“Well what can you say for a home improvement/contract haven pretty clean and very attentive staff you can get help with almost any thing you need to know about staff is pretty knowledgeable and also if you need help with something on the top shelf easily done they'll bring over a lot and take it down you...”
“Good to have a local hardware store so that we don’t have to schlep to Home Depot in Stroudsburg. Friendly customer service. We found everything we needed in a pinch for our paint project. The surcharge on using a debit card is annoying but like I said in a pinch this place works!”
