“great place to stop n get odds n ends. not a place you'd you go grocery shopping however they do have some canned, boxed and frozen items as well as a large variety of snacks. but besides that, they have a little of everything!!”
“This was my first time visiting this store, and I was surprised. It's big. Fresh fruit, veggies, berries, greens.You can buy detergents, etc.Also, they sell some great deal stuff.I loved the Dodge truck fruit stand ( see the picture)I didn't get to see the whole store, I almost didn’t take pictures, I was in a rush. “Nice Dollar Store, even though items are $1.25. Some aisles in disarray from shoppers. Employees are constantly arranging new merchandise & everyone is friendly & helpful. The store has a very large section of greeting cards & party goods.”
“Lots of items at reasonable prices. It's best to check the items you're planning to purchase as some items have imperfections. I saw a very nice bath sheet, but it had stains and I wasn't sure I would be able to get it clean.”

“A great local store with so many products to choose from. I was amazed by what they sold and how great their prices were. You can buy household appliances, cosmetics, jewelry, clothes crafts, dishes etc..The customer service wasn't bad either. I would definitely recommend them over dollar general. They may just be a notch higher than family dollar store as well. When I compare the three of those stores I believe Happy Dollar and Discount is the best out of those three.”

“This store was clean , organized , and the workers were beyond amazing in every regard. I believe the one working the crafts section , whom by the way was absolutely gorgeous!!! , was called Jennifer and she was an absolute delight. Kind disposition , kept a warm smile , and even led me , instead of just halfhearted directing me , to the item I was looking for . Will definitely always have my patronage long as she’s there!!!!!”

“A few months ago I thought I lost my engagement ring while shopping at Dollar Tree, and the whole team helped me look for it… in addition to some kind customers. We looked for a while but didn’t find it, and I left my name and number with the employees there. Well, I ended up finding it at home the next day and never updated Dollar tree.I just received a phone call from Linda calling to check if I had ever found it as she came across my number in the lost and found and remembered that day. Not only is that award winning customer service, but it highlights to me that Linda is an all around thoughtful and kind human.Much appreciated!”

“I want to give a shout out to pen argyl pa dollar general for one of the best employees of any store I met today that worked there, his name was Jorge and was wonderful. Not only did he rush over to open the door for me, he was pleasant and personable. He offered the girl in front of me to carry her stuff to her car it was bulky and heavy. The girl said it was ok she could carry it out and he actually told me he felt bad that he couldn’t help her because of how bad the weather was. I was short on my money and I was asking him to take off something. He refused and took it out if his pay. He said merry Christmas and paid it. He is a young guy with a Heart of gold that deserves recognition and made what has been a very depressing month due to my son being in a coma after a seizure and going into cardiac arrest. Jorge made me smile. What a wonderful kid with a great positive energy.”
“Good spot to grab stuff u need on the fly. Its a block away tho. Place is a little unkempt but the people who work there bust hump. Its more the patrons. Staff are usually friendly. Stay away from freezer items they seem to always be down and ya just dont know.”

“The store has greatly improved since the new management. It is better stocked and maintained. The only issue is the posted schedule. It says open till 10 pm which is not accurate. Last night again I ran there with my son after I picked him up from work. He was feeling sick and wanted to get some ginger ales but at 9:42pm the store was closed. I've been there at 9:30 and it's closed. This is the 3rd time . Be safe and go before 9pm”
“It's a decent store to get what you need. Some items are a bit overpriced. Employees are respectful and work hard. Store needs 2 or more people in shift at all times, especially during times where it'll get extremely busy (holidays and when people get paid). Store isn't as clean and well stocked as it could be. Quality of bags have downgraded. But has more of a variety with hair care and make up. A decent place to work as well!”
