“I’ve been a customer of this store for years — back when it was True Value. I’m also a big fan. I’m always amazed at the number of different items they carry given the size of the store and how helpful the people are who work there. I can’t tell you how many times they’ve saved me from having to drive to Home Depot in Flemington, NJ. Living in New Hope this is huge because the next biggest towns are 20-30 minutes away.”

“I've been coming here for years and they always have what I need (for a great price too). Recently I needed new stems for my old Crane shower faucet. I didn't think I would find it anywhere but sure enough they had it. Highly recommend! Inventory, price, knowledge. They have it all!”

“Great service. I needed to replace broken glass in an old storm window. They cut the glass to the size I requested and had the correct spline to hold it in place that needed replacement. This type of service is not available at the large stores.”

“Almost always have what I go in looking for and usually a LOT of what I wasn’t “looking” for in their fabulously long clearance aisle!!! Honestly have never felt like I was bothering anyone if I needed assistance either!! I do feel like they could have at least 1 more person available per shift, yeah I know I get it, but it’d be nicer to easily find great help when ya need them!! Store is ALWAYS clean! I’ve only ever used the Lil Girls Room once during a snowstorm and it took was very clean!”

“Finkles is awesome! Their old time look and customer service is top notch. I have been going there for years for both my simple needs (household stuff) and my business needs (hardware). They have always come through. Today, Rachel researched a plumbing need I had and solved my issue....as usual.”

“Recently we worked with Knobs and Knockers in Peddlers Village to order a complete new front door handle. The selection process was easy and the team at The store worked in coordination with our carpenter schedule to get us the unit in a timely manner. Unfortunately the manufacturer threw everyone a curveball by sending a product that was missing some essential parts! Matt, the store owner, handled this in the most professional way by reordering a new door handle set pronto and having their technician install it so we did not have to re-engage our carpenter at our expense. While I realize this was an exception to the norm to get a faulty unit, we were grateful that the Knobs and Knockers team stood behind us in every way in this event. I highly recommend this company!”

“Been dealing these guys for almost ten years. Steve R is my go to guy. Whether he’s at work or at home no matter what the time is, he’s always been there. Just a phone call away. I get one on one service, and parts turn around is short and prices are were they should be. I just can’t say enough, except..thank you.”

“Great local paint shop. They carry Benjamin Moore paint and have the supplies you need. Support your local store, not the big box place that doesn't carry quality paint.”

“I had to drop a row of trees that got ruined by the deer and ice storms. I was left with unsightly stumps. Home Depot rents stump grinders so I went to the Bridgewater location to rent one. Unfortunately the one they had was returned broken. They talked me into a small one which slipped immediately as soon as it touched the wood. Not wanting to waste time fixing their machine in order to use it, I returned it. I drove past the Bridgewater store and the Branchburg store which doesn't have a stump grinder in order to reach the Flemington Home Depot which had two of the large units. Both the man and woman running the department were friendly and helpful. I received expert instruction on how to use the machine and assistance hitching the trailer to my vehicle. The stump grinder only took a minute to get used control if the hydrolics and the tractor drive. It made short work of a dozen stumps and was almost effortless. A small weak person would have no problem operating it. I had the machine back in three hours so I was charged less than $250.00 for the half day. Thanks Flemington Home Depot for good condition tools and great service.”
