“Room was clean but could use some fresh paint and new carpet. Staff was very courteous. Not bad for $60. Bring cash though because they don't accept debit or credit cards.”

“Excellent stay at the Brownsville rd B&B. We came with two dogs on our Anniversary weekend and the host was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and the neighborhood is very nice. Coming from Columbus Ohio we were not used to all the hills but this hotel has a very nice flat and semi private front yard with a large porch. The dogs loved running around the house and we had a wonderful full service breakfast. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Pittsburgh.”
“Perfect neighborhood if you want to get away for the weekend, especially if you don't want to talk to anyone. Very happy with the fact it was self-service. The rooms are absolutely lovely, and while we had some TV issues at first it was quickly settled. Our room didnt come with an ice bucket, but we made do. Would recommend”

“It’s a nice hotel. Everything was on par with Holiday Inn Standards. Clean lobby, friendly staff, and spacious rooms. The beds could have been more comfortable, but this is only opinion and not an observation of truth.”

“We had a wonderful stay!! I'm from Pittsburgh and drove by this place 1000 times! I had no idea it was a place to stay until recently. The mansion is gorgeous and the architecture is beautiful. The wood work in this place is mind blowing!!! It's amazing! Top grade craftsmanship went into building this place and renovating it.The night we got there, there was a party downstairs on the main floor around the main entrance. We pulled up and could hear the music. Parking gave us a bit of anxiety but it worked out. We did get a spot around back. They have valet parking. The valet driver just told us where to park so we followed that direction. he also asked us before parking if we had plans on leaving. That's important because if you want to leave and there is a party, it could take a good bit to get your car out. We didn't have an issue because we stayed in.We stayed up on the 3rd floor. This place is so big and so solid that we couldn't hear a peep coming from the party on the first floor!!! Our room was big and private. We didn't encounter anyone else on our floor the whole weekend. There were no noisy people upstairs or beside us or roaming the halls. The place is so solid that we didn't hear a peep!!! The bathroom in our room had a nice shower, TV, comfy bed. There is a staircase and stained glass window as soon as you walk in the main entrance that's breathtaking. we walked a few streets over the next day to Pamela's for breakfast which I would also recommend. We had a great stay. I think there are extras you can add on to your stay like butler service or breakfast but we didn't do that. we were just kind of left to enjoy and we loved that! The lady that checked us in and out was so nice. It was really incredible to see this place if you are a fan of architecture. Chefs kiss!!I do think it would be helpful if they had a little map or something for people that stay. Trying to figure out how to get to our room took us a few minutes because we had to check in inside the house next door, walk into the mansion, take the elevator up and figure out how to get up to 3. The lady that checked us in gave us directions that were clear but when you don't know where you are going it takes a few minutes to figure out the route. We figured out 2 ways to get up to the 3rd floor. There's probably more the place is so big. It's really an awesome place. I would say go if you want a weekend away and are from pgh. It's so much better than a hotel!!! It's top notch!”

“Wow!!!! My stay started with a very patient and lovely receptionist. I got an amazing suite with a little built-in fireplace and such a cool design for separate seating with a separate television and a little fireplace in the wall. Everything was top-notch, the bathroom was gorgeous, the lighting had dimmers. I’m just sorry I have to go to work cause I’d rather stay here.”
“This service plaza is on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and it contains a gas station, convenience store, a few casual restaurants, an ATM, restrooms, many tables and chairs, information booklets, etcetera.
I purchased gasoline at the gas station, but I did not like the selection of snacks and beverages in the convenience store. The building and grounds were in good condition, and the restroom was fairly clean.”
“Best shower of my life!!!! Beds were comfy. Tv was great. The floor was coming apart but that was the only bad thing. Also had a fridge and microwave in the room.”
“I came to this hotel after stopping at a few already and this lady was extremely nice and welcoming. Was short on a little bit of money for the room and she waved the fee. I very much thank her. She's a lifesaver. I recommend this hotel to everybody. Great! Location room looks nice. Very welcoming. She's a sweetheart but woman deserves a raise”

“The front manager was very nice and accommodating and gave us two rooms next to each other on the first floor. The rooms are big and so was the bathroom. Everything looked very nice but both rooms had a horrid odor. Good thing we brought room spray, after spraying the rooms they were perfect for the night. We felt safe and were comfortable!”

“SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Monroeville is a reliable and comfortable option for families, business travelers, and short stays. The hotel offers spacious suite-style rooms with a separate sitting area, work desk, microwave, mini-fridge, and free Wi-Fi, making it practical for both work and relaxation. Rooms are generally clean and comfortable, though some areas may feel slightly dated.
The service is a strong point, with friendly and helpful front-desk staff who make check-in and stay management smooth. However, overall services feels understaffed.
Guests also have access to an indoor pool, fitness center, and business facilities.
A complimentary breakfast is included and features standard hot and cold options such as coffee, eggs or breakfast sandwiches, cereals, yogurt, and pastries. While not elaborate, it is convenient and sufficient to start the day.
The hotel is well-located near Monroeville Mall, the Monroeville Convention Center, UPMC East, and a variety of restaurants and shopping options. Easy access to major highways makes it a convenient base for visiting Pittsburgh and nearby attractions.
Overall, SpringHill Suites Monroeville offers good value, comfort, and convenience for travelers looking for a dependable mid-range stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Quiet room with a beautiful view of the river, fresh pack n play for my son, comfy bed. The staff at the hotel is exceptionally nice, from the janitor to the cafe to the front desk. Tianna in the cafe is a rock star. Delicious eggs, stone cut oatmeal, and especially tasty cold brew coffee.”

“9.5/10 Experience.
The Good: Great location, love the rooms, great breakfast selection, loved Outback Steakhouse, Bathrooms were handicap accessible and also plus sized adult friendly.
Bad: No hot tub in pool area, Hotel bathroom does not have a bath tub. Standing shower or shower chair only.
The Ugly: Totally not Hampton Inns fault. But at night there were about 20 kids in the pool being loud and disruptive. They were whipping balls at eachother and screaming. Parents were doing nothing about the behavior. The same parents were at breakfast and one of the mothers was being loud and causing a scene. Not Hampton Inn’s fault but it’s just something to keep in mind that you may have to deal with.”
“I tried to sleep but kept on waking up to moaning. When I investigated the noise I walked in on a cult meeting. Ended up getting my tendinitis removed, but got hot coco after from them. Would recommend the experience.Safety: They compliment my size”

“Had an emergency the 1st night staying and in the middle of the night, they were very attentive to the situation and also, the staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and even the 2nd time of stay the same. Customer service was excellent as they did what they could and the best I've seen from traveling.”
“From what the motel used to be, to now is a hell of an update. They are continuously working and updating the property which is more than u can say for all the other motels in the area. It's super cheap 55.00-65.00 cash a night. Walking distance to the gas station, dq and Dunkin donuts. I wish they would re-open the bar for events and parties. The rooms are HUGE and beds are comfy. Wish they had vending machines and ice machines. But for the price and location YOU can't beat it..
Also half of the motel is now more then just rooms to rent it has efficiencys and one bedroom apartments. Super affordable too.”
