“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Boggs Mansion. The whole experience was a great value. The innkeeper was super accommodating, friendly, and generous, offering to help whenever he can and providing complimentary snacks/refreshments all day and night. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful, feeling luxurious yet homey.
We stayed in the smallest room, but it was perfect enough for a couple. It felt very cozy and like I said before homey, which is quite different from the typical hotel stays we're accustomed to. The mansion is situated in a walkable area, with the National Aviary just nearby. It isn't too much of a hike from downtown, either. And a pleasant surprise- free street parking! And despite road work going on nearby there was always a space available. It felt super nice not having to worry about parking fees or finding a spot when returning to our room.
The Boggs Mansion was wonderful stay, even moreso for the value, and we will definitely be returning next time we're in Pittsburgh!”
“I really enjoyed my stay at The Maverick by Kasa. I was supposed to do the self check-in but there was a guy sitting in the lobby who was helping people get checked in. I'm sure if he wasn't there it would have been pretty easy to figure out. Everything works like clockwork. The room itself was excellent—very well laid out, clean, and incredibly comfortable. It’s located in a unique and interesting part of Pittsburgh with a lot of character.
The only real downside was the parking situation, which was confusing and a bit of a hassle. Because the area can feel a little sketchy at night, I was definitely anxious about parking my F-150 on the street and worried about it getting broken into. Fortunately, everything ended up being completely fine, and I had no issues during my stay.
Ultimately, it didn’t break my wallet, and I'm really happy I chose to stay here. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-designed room at a great price, this is a solid choice—just be prepared to navigate the parking!”

“What an enjoyable and relaxing experience we had at The Brownsville Road House! After a long motorcycle ride, we were exhausted, thirsty, and hungry upon arrival. Our host provided us complimentary beverages, a quick tour of the house so we could settle in, and a full list of restaurants so we didn't have to waste any time trying to figure out where to eat. After dinner, we relaxed on the patio and enjoyed the evening breeze. Our accommodations were very comfortable and we slept soundly until morning. Again, our host knew exactly what we needed - a full breakfast! And after breakfast was served, sadly it was time to leave. We would love to go back! The house is full of history. Our host is fun to talk to and has a wealth of information to share about the house and local area. Everything was super and we certainly enjoyed ourselves.”

“Cute hotel with history as a religious and neighborhood center years ago. "Edgy" neighborhood after dark. Questionable front desk practices regarding handling of credit cards. Overnight clerk made a physical paper xerox copy of my credit card with my drivers license. I understand about my license but when questioned about copying my Visa card, I was told they keep it for their records. On a piece of paper that lays around on the desk for any employee to see? Forever? Heck no. This is how money and identities get stolen. I made him give me the portion with my CC info right away. He didnt need it for their records, my CC is already kept in their software (which is concerning). Day clerk when I checked out, said that copying credit cards is not their policy. I have stayed at the Priory before. It's very close to the hospital where I work 4 days each month (40 hotel nights per year in Pittsburgh). Convenient. Nice front desk staff but something sketchy happened to me there regarding my credit card. They do not even have a chip reader on the counter for you to use either. Employees complain about the software they use, I wonder if it's even secure. Lax business practices with your money and identity.”
“Centrally located. I was in a gloriously spacious suite. The property feels historic, so maybe not the most modern of decor, but they have plenty of outlets, comfy bed, and nice big bathroom. The lobby is grand. The staff is very helpful! There are several places to get a drink or nibble, but be aware that the pastry shop isn't open every day or all day.”
“Simply magical!!! The Priory Hotel and The Pittsburgh Grand Hall is truly one of the most beautiful venues for our daughters wedding. Rebecca and her staff go above and beyond in every way to make sure your day is beyond anything you could ever imagine. From the perfect venue setting, to the food being outstanding, to the historic hotel which becomes your home away from home for the weekend. The Hotel and Grand Hall were impeccable, our guests commented how their rooms were spotless and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The Bridal Suite was amazing for the girls to get ready for the big day. We used The Monk Bar as a gathering place each day and it was a wonderful intimate setting for family and friends to meet. I truly do not have enough words to use to express our gratitude to the staff at The Priory for giving my daughter a wedding of her dreams. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!”

“Was there for a conference. Some of the doors entering the room were quite noisy. When entering during the middle of a speech, the noise can be disturbing. Please fix.

From the moment I walked inside, I felt welcomed and the two lovely ladies at the desk were friendly, helpful and kind.(One of them named Pinky) The room was very clean and lovely. In fact, entire hotel was very clean. They greeted our little dogs (Romeo and Juliet) like stars with treats and balls. And oh the breakfast...fabulous!! I highly recommend this Hampton Inn and will return on my next trip back home!!”

“Stayed here about a month ago for my friend’s birthday to see Wicked the musical and the staff/ hotel was phenomenal! The Benedum Theater was a short walk with lots of food options nearby as well. When we were checking in we told the front desk staff that we were going to see Wicked; they were SO kind and sent us themed cocktails to our room! ?? The view from our room was gorgeous too. Overall amazing stay and would definitely go back!”

The associate at the front desk was efficient, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great for the concert! Only a 10 minute Uber ride. I would stay again!”

“We used the Fairfield Inn in Pittsburgh as the kickoff location for our five-day ride on the Great Allegheny Passage, and it was a perfect choice. The location made it easy to get to the start of the trail, with plenty of restaurants within a few blocks. We also had a terrific view of the river — worth asking for. The hotel let us keep our bikes in the room, so we didn’t have to worry about security before the ride. Comfortable room, great night’s sleep, and an easy launch point for the GAP. (Stayed May 26, 2026)”
