“I was compelled to write review to give big shout out to Ms.Renee , one of the employee at the Scotty’s Market. We entered almost at their lunch break hour & she kindly let us in. And she even stayed back till we complete order & eat. She happily assisted while we shopped snacks & she gave suggestion on food, asked my kid feedback on food so that Scotty’s market owners can reform. It is such a rare thing to see nowadays that people work with such kindness & passion. Thank you Ms Renee. God bless you.”

“I was having my car towed to a shop to have it repaired and the AAA driver who was Towing my car spoke about this store I don't want to pronounce the name because I don't want to mess it up but this Market was everything that the driver said it was and what the driver said was that they had the best sandwiches well I was hungry one day and as I passed the store I decided to make a short left turn park my car and then throw off into that facility oh boy am I glad I did I got an Italian sub sandwich and I have to tell you this homemade sandwich that they put together was just awesome it was so delicious and to add a topping to that they had homemade pastries and I purchase chocolate chip cookies and their peanut butter cookies were to die for why do I say that because I'm a peanut butter cookie crazy woman I love peanut butter cookies so if you're ever in the area stop off at the family store it's a modest Market and they have beautiful fruit also it is well worth the efforts and the husband and wife couple that runs it they are so friendly so kind and attentive they definitely will see me again and probably again and again thank you”

The store had everything we wanted to buy and what we missed. Delicious sausage, squash caviar, Borodino bread, delicious sweets and much more and KVAS.... Thanks to these people for allowing us to experience the taste and smell of home. And yes...since we skimped on a large amount, they gave us more candies and chocolate. This is a nice bonus. “You won't find another market that matches the rich history, friendliness of owners, and quality of products. The owner Dave went out of his way to give my wife and I a tour of the place and tell us the history of previous owners and stories about Mac Miller. You can really tell he takes pride in taking over the place. It has a very homey feel and we both thoroughly enjoyed our Reubens in the "backyard". There's no doubt I will revisit”

“If you live in Oakland Pittsburgh, you should go. A good place to get vegetables, deli, & Italian food. Food imported from Italy. Been here as long as I have, 20+ years, and with good reason.Not very big, very local. I should mention the deli, a big part of why I go.”

“Their hours make it really difficult for me to ever make it over there. I wish they were open later than 4pm at least one weekday so I could stop by on my way home from work. Great selection tho”
“Don't go there hungry... This is the type of store where you can get out of hand grocery shopping very fast... It's great. Other than the strip district downtown where you pay to park, not here. It's centrally located to the "Monroeville" area. If Italian food is your thing, GO THERE. You won't be disappointed.”

She recommended things, which definitely increased the amount of things I purchased! She had us try so many things I probably would have not even considered. “Convenience with a flair is the name of the game at Bryant Street Market. The coolest sandwhiches with the finest meats and toppings have to be their specialty. The store is really clean for a neighborhood deli. Top quality food items are all that is sold at the store. Parking can be a bit of a hassle because of the way the parking lot is set up. When I have turned people on to Bryant Street Market they are quite impressed with the store.”

“Be aware of unusual parking at this location. Converted 4-story old industrial building with ramp to inclosed garage. Elevator for those who need it. Store was well stocked, no options for self checkout. Musta hit just the right time - a dozen people in line before 2nd register opened. Lots of public transportation nearby.”
