“Just realized, whenever I previously rated this store, I only gave 3 stars (probably bc I wasn't a frequent shopper there). Well, I'd like to update that rating. AfFordable Pet center is in my must shop list for my pets. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I can always find what I need (and then some haha) every trip. Staff is always super friendly, and can answer most questions. They're always interested in how you like their product selection (especially if it's something new), will go the extra mile to find products you're looking for and will either order it for you or depending on the item, even start stocking it. Pricing is very consistent with other retailers, some items I've found are also less expensive here. You can pretty much make this place a one stop shop depending on your needs.”
“Owner is so nice such a great place would definitely go here again they even gave me a free bone for my dog 10/10 definitely go here for grooming and other pet supplies. (Edit I couldn't give it to the saint he sadly passed away but I gave it to my girl Maggie she’s a pitbull mix.)”

I've continued to shop this store regularly and every visit since the one prompting my original review has been nothing short of pleasant.
I've been greeted with a smile and everyone has been very upbeat. Exactly like most reviewers have reported.
Clearly there's something to be said about the quality of care they take if we contined to shop there despite a poor experience last year.

I've been to this store off and on for many years. Back when Sarah still worked there and they had the old location. It was almost always a very pleasant experience....( deleted )

“The mill is amazing… The only place we get hay. It’s about 20 to 25 minutes away from us and we still will take the drive! Amanda really helped me out today… I have a sick toddler and needed hay. She helped me move things around in my car to put it in my trunk! She went above and beyond. I truly appreciated it!”

“Deceptively small from the outside, but this Petco has a wide variety of essentials. The aquatics section in particular is why I've come back here - whoever takes care of their fish really, really cares, and it shows. Everything is healthy and there are plenty of plants to choose from on top of everything! The staff have been nothing but patient and helpful. My favorite one to go to by far”

“I stopped there just to look at the animals and spend some time with them. The facility was spotless, the staff were extremely helpful, and the animals were clean. I previously adopted a dog from them who was now 14 years old. He is the best dog imaginable. I'm so happy I got him! He turned into my best friend and I love him to death.”

They have toys and treats for different animals as well as some animals other then dogs such as cats, rabbits, and snakes.”

“This is honestly one of the best pets stores in the Lehigh valley not just because of their selection, but because of their attitude and knowledge. Tia (I believe that was her name) was extremely helpful in helping me select a Shrimp safe fish for my tank. She had an all around good attitude. She also was knowledgeable about terrarium plants and helped my wife select plants for her crested gecko tank. I will be going back and I hope Tia is there when I do!”
