“We stopped in for some breakfast and the shop is so nice. It reminds me of the corner stores growing up. The menu is great, with a lot of options and the staff was so kind and friendly. We got a breakfast burger and a BLT. Both were prepared perfectly and quickly. Highly recommend this local small business.”

“This is a wonderful family market with quite a few excellent items that are hard to find a United States. I got Wheaten flour, marmite, digestives with DARK chocolate, and some wonderful looking mustards. They also have lots of Irish sweets. The lady behind me was all over the crisps. It’s worth a visit if you appreciate Irish food. The staff was very helpful. I hear they get a lot of good stuff in at Christmas time. I’ll have to come back and check. It was definitely worth the drive.”

“Owners of Joe’s always make you feel welcome they’re accommodating. They actually listen to you and understand your situations always have pleasant experiences when I walk through the door and all their staff is all respectful and pleasant . There’s days that you walk in there and they can just make your day And their deli meats are the freshest . And pricing is comparable even sometimes less than the grocery store. If you have not tried Joe’s, you need to. I guaranteed you’ll love the experience and you’ll be a returning customer.”
“Great local market boasting local suppliers! Nice, modest selection of organic and fresh foods. We visited in June and saw peonies and a garden plants on sale.
They had whole pretzels for sale for just $0.99 and tomato pie for $7.99. Cannot wait to try it!
I love their wholesale section where you can bring your own reusable container to grab bulk items like nuts, teas, fruits and snacks. Such a great way to get small quantities especially for baking.
Reminds me of the MOM’s Organic markets which I love and frequent. Prices are good, comparable to Whole Foods. If I were a local, I would frequent this spot!”
“It's a well known chain of retail outlets! Visited one in midtown Manhattan! The Shop was spacious and well stocked. Fruits, snacks and many essential items !It's well located and enjoys many footfall even in weekdays!”
“While not a full fledged supermarket in many regards, it is great for picking up Japanese delicacies and more focused on Japan for those into the culture. Go to H-Mart for more of a general Asian supermarket, but you can't go wrong with the Japanese focus here if you want more specific.”

I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did.Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter.Also, the guy behind the counter? “I live only a minute from this hidden gem and was welcomed warmly when walking in. Absolutely lovely staff and immediately told them it was my first time ever being in a meat emporium and they told me about every cut of meat they had and even told me which cuts I should use based on the dishes I commonly cooked. They also recommended me some great finishing salts which I bought the chimichurri and it was 10/10. I did purchase a pound of their marinated short rib which is phenomenal and saves me extra time in the kitchen. Great shop and will be recommending to my neighbors :) also their gf bread cheese is great too!”

“I was born ( 1965) and raised about 200' from this place on Cottage Street. ( I moved out of Philly many years ago)
Back in the 1970s, I would pass by this store on my way to Lawton every day for years. It was a candy store then.
Then it abruptly closed down. (There was also a candy store at Benner & Jackson and Benner and Walker Streets then too). Lots of great memories from the 1970s....kids riding their bikes...trick or treating...
It's great to see this store open and providing great food and memories for the local community again. I wish much continued success to the owners.”
“I love this market. Everyone here is very kind and wholesome. The owners are from Afghanistan ??. Very nice products but I bought the head&shoulders old spice shampoo and conditioner and it smells very different from where I usually buy it from like Family dollar, target, ACME, etc. products are expensive but nice. Clean.”
“I live closer to another Filipino store. I visited this store because I was curious to see their menu and merchandise. It’s nice to have options for our birthday parties and other occasions. It was a weekday but their menu was just right and they were able to accommodate my other orders since I called ahead. My Filipino and even American friends were surprised and loved the embutido. I’m greatly satisfied with the service and Pinoy food.”
