“I don’t normally give reviews, but the cashier here seriously made my day today. I didn’t catch her name, but she was so kind and had a good sense of humor. I normally have to wait to check out but today was different because of her. Thank you!!”
“I love Aldi and we shop here often. I tend to shop the "outside aisles" at Aldi. So mostly fruit, veggies, meat, cheese, nuts, dairy. The problem with this location is ALWAYS waiting in long checkout lines. They do not have self checkout for some crazy reason. If there's even a cashier, there's almost only just one and a very very long line. If you go during off-peak times, the cashier is often not even at the register, and you have to wait for them to see you there. It's annoying for sure, however we continue to shop there anyway. They NEED SELF-CHECKOUT, but they told me once that they'll never get it because Aldi won't get it for all of their stores.”
“This is re: the store: All clerks are rushing around and the aisles are really narrow.
For the restaurant: Excellent. Not a single negative comment on it. Large portions, very good food and good prices.
Vegetarian options: Many items on the menu are vegetarian options and there are also gluten free options.
Parking: Very little and tight parking.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menu items.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Flat parking spaces.”
“Always have the products I want available. N at a good price. The new location is very convenient n much nicer than the old store was. Staff is always friendly and helpful.”
“The prices are decent but I don't shop their often because don't prices are out of this world for certain things. The sushi is great but it is too expensive. But it's worth it I guess.”
“Fast Service, Great Lunch Special today/1/2 Italian Hoagie w/chips, pickles on the sideThey always load up on the meat & veggies.. lol They never fail to please my hunger pains around lunch time.. ? and if you're in a real hurry, you can always call your Order in Ahead of Time! ?”
“Disappointed Beverly did not greet me, smile, or ask if I found everything. All others are helpful and friendly, especially Deb. Allowing organizations to solicit donations at the entrance is poor practice, very unwelcoming. Update: Register accepted PIN but somehow did not read the card? Cashier processed it as cash. I asked Customer Service to void the transaction and re-scan the 3 items. She refused. After 50 yrs in retail, the only transactions that can't be voided are batches at closing time. That was not the case here. Her unempathetic attitude suggests she needs training.”
“Store is great and easy to shop. Produce is great and the guy there, Pete, super helpful. I'm glad they usually have a cashier on duty sometimes you just don't want to deal with self checkout.”
“Friendly and helpful staff, decent prices. They take much better care of their produce than Walmart, and it's worth paying a little more for Redner's: Walmart's greens are often already rotting in containers: you can check my photos of that place. This location also has lawn furniture for reasonably affordable, about $50 more than Amazon for a $200 unit. You can buy firewood here too.”
“Great people and nice old school atmosphere. Please be aware the entire structure and business model have changed. They don't sell groceries any longer. Gas is still here but it's clothing and stuff like that. I've not purchased anything other than gas since the change. I cannot answer anything about the changing busy model as of yet.”
“Not a bad grocery store! They have stuff in weird places and they didn't carry regular food dye. They had the gel stuff, though, so I guess it's fine. I'd go here again.”
“Things I've purchased, bacon, burgers, porterhouse steaks, hot sausage, finish salts, yogurt, bread, mushrooms.Everything is top shelf.People are friendly. I shop here once a week at minimum.Best addition to Pottsville”

“Really cool staff. Gives the kids candies. Prices are going up which is happening everywhere. But I will say it this place stays open 24/7 it will be the best most needed place in the area as turkey hill in the port carbon is a speed trap for police”
“I'm in Shenandoah Heights. I have both a Boyers & Redners within 3 miles. That being said, if I need items with a shorter shelf life (ie: produce, breads, cold cuts) I'll go the extra couple minutes/miles to the Frackville Boyers. Their selections are fresher & visibly more appealing.... HANDS DOWN”
“I LOVE LOVE LOVED MY VISIT HERE! I had always gone to the Rte 61 location cuz it was closed to me. Well had I known what I was missing I would have been going to this location all the time! As usual the lunch meat is fresh and great price and a lovely selection of sale items 5 for 5. And also a great selection of just about anything you could want or need in case you're not trying to go do a big grocery store trip! So this will definitely be my new regular weekly store trip.”
“Usually well stocked and this location is clean, even the floors. It's in a safe spot and the Shartlesville area is a grocery store desert so it's welcome to be able to get eats there. I gave it 5 stars but will amend my review, the store still clean BUT BUT BUT the parking lot is absolutely disgusting. There are cig butts everywhere, Hundreds . You gotta sweep it alt least ONCE a year.”
“Sadly this location last day u der original ownership was yesterday! Scared what will become of it. Loved brox sel but luckily the other location on 16th n Market will still be open........ Hopefully a very long long time!!!!!! Even tho it's totally out of my way now it's worth it for the quality n prices of their deli meats and cheeses and many other savings especially the 5 for 5 dollar items love those!!!!!”
“I really like this new store it's very nice and clean and but the manager at night is very unfriendly and kind of rude. She always makes you feel like you're bothering her. Other than that I really like the store”
“Great staff! Showed up right before they closed tonight for an eyeglass kit and he walked me right back, found what I needed and dilemma was resolved! Our local DG is awesome!”
“Have more variety and obscure items than most food stores in the area, however the prices are higher than those other stores as well.
Butcher counter has always treated us well, and the meats we've gotten from there are always great.”

“Product is good however the glass jars are not what you see. They stuff the meat on outside showing a full jar but in the middle it’s empty. Just fill smaller jars full of product and stop deceiving the public.”
“We arrived 10 minutes after closing to replace a pair of $5 crocks for my son who was having a melt down that his had just broken. The doors were locked but the employees opened the door and ran through the store to find him a replacement pair. I can not thank them enough for their compassion and dedication to serve!”
“Best Place! I like being able to go to a person to check out rather than a self checkout or pick up. Brings back good memories when times were much better! The whole boyers atmosphere is nice! I like shopping there!”
