“I'm giving this Sunoco gas station a 5 star - because employees come out and totally clean the entire pumping machine from top to bottom. Other gas stations do not clean their pumps or Handles. That's like touching with your bare hands a dirty disgusting toilet. Sunoco thank you for cleaning your pumps !!!”
“The new owner is great! I got a new set of tires from him this summer. He also made it really easy when I got a flat tire. I’m glad I found a someone reliable when it comes to tires and repair.”
“I found a listing for a vehicle here through AutoTrader and subsequently reached out over a weekend online to see if I could test drive today. Patrick replied on the weekend confirming. I let him know this morning roughly when I'd be there. To my surprise, he had the vehicle warming up for me when I arrived. With minimal fuss, I was allowed to test drive the vehicle on my own. It's been a while since I did this at a small dealer, so it was surprising to me. I have grown used to having the salesperson (from large dealerships) come along and tell me exactly where to drive. I forgot how unpleasant that is compared to driving alone without the feeling of being watched or controlled. I also mentioned to him I was interested in another vehicle of his, and he had that one ready for me when I returned from the first test drive. Amazing customer service! Both vehicles had their pros and cons, but what stands out to me is that not once did I ever feel pressured into buying. He politely answered some questions, and we discussed my potential trade-in without any hullaballoo. We talked about my situation, and he never once tried to use that information against me with any sales tactics. It felt like talking to a friend more than a salesman. Contrast that with the subsequent experience I had at a big dealership. All I wanted to do was test drive their unmodified FJ to compare it to the modified one that Patrick is selling. That turned into a high pressure sales job. Good grief! Anyhow, I will NOT be buying from Turnersville Jeep EVAR. So anyhow, my experience with US1 and Patrick McGinty specifically has been great. I'm very inclined to do a deal with him just based on his customer service alone. I can't praise him highly enough! Thank you, Patrick for treating me like a human and not a dollar sign!”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
Love's Travel Stops is starting 2025 with ambitious growth plans, adding 20 new stores and updating 50 current locations across the country. The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. This includes the modernization of its recently acquired turnpike location in Stroud, Oklahoma. By 2035, over half of Love's 655 stores will be either new or updated.
Texas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

The company announced plans to open four more locations across metro Detroit, weeks before opening its first Michigan location. The first Michigan Sheetz will open its doors in late summer at 33380 Wick Road in Romulus. More locations are planned for Taylor, Warren, and Macomb Township, each employing around 30 people, mostly full-time.
Love's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
