“This bike store caters more to cyclists trying to fix up their bike (with or without assistance) or get some parts. They have a number for work stations where people can prop their bikes and get to work. There are a few bikes for sale near the register, which are all used and have been expertly brought back to life. Price is reasonable and a great option if you can find a bike in your size and style without the worries of purchasing from someone at random. For those just needing some used equipment, they have labeled bins full of various bike parts from derailleurs to pedal and tubes. There is also a free bin where I was able to find some bacon strip patches and two classic steel levers. Never know what you will find! Hours are very limited for those working a 9-5 job (Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-9pm). They also host a Women/Trans/Nonbinary Open Shop day for those 18 and older on Wednesday's from 6:30pm - 9pm. Location is accessible by the T1 trolley from Center City.”

“The Philadelphia Protestant Home is a very lovely place. When you first enter, it looks like the lobby of a bed and breakfast space. it doesn't look like the typical nursing home and rehab neither does it smell like one. The staff are not only professional but kind and attentive to the needs of the patient. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. NO DIRT, NO SMELLS!!! The food is absolutely wonderful!!! I have visited people in many nursing homes/rehabs in Philadelphia but there are none like this. If I had to be placed in a nursing home/rehab this would be MY ONLY CHOICE!!!”
“Perhaps the most intriguing spiritual practice in the states, this Quaker meeting house is impeccably maintained and perfectly showcases the historical and current practice of Quakers. You can feel something special the moment you walk into the worship space (which is still used by modern Quakers!). The staff are super friendly and clearly care deeply about this historic and important space.”

“Rebuilding Together Philadelphia is an outstanding organization that I've been affiliated with for about 15 years. Their mission supports keeping lower income Philadelphians in their generational homes, focusing on safety, health, and wellness. This mission supports the city in ways that no other initiative can. It keeps neighborhoods intact and supports communities to fight gentrification. The work generally comes at no cost to the homeowners but does not mean that it is cheaply or poorly done. The volunteers are taught the importance of the work and instilled with a sense of pride in creating a finished product that looks good and will last. If something isn't done right or done well, rest assured it will be replaced, redone, or corrected. Shoddy work would never support a mission of keeping families in homes that are safe and healthy and it's never something that is associated with RTP.”

“This place is amazing. I just moved to the area and I signed up for a 5 week class but unfortunately couldn’t make the last two weeks due to personal reasons. Corinne, Carly, and Julianna were all so understanding and helpful. They helped me with a makeup lesson when I was back and Carly even checked in on me a few times during my makeup session. This is such a safe place to be creative - something I’ve always been scared to do. I’m looking forward to my next class series with Jesse.”

It is a very small museum, basically one large room with various displays, so I would combine this visit with a visit to Independence Hall or another museum in the area.”

“Good evening Google Family. My friend Pat invited me to go to this senior center. This is my first time here. It is similar to Upper Darby senior center but the building is larger and they have a nurse on the premises. I took an exercise class spearheaded by Jackie. It is an intense class, moves quickly and is very motivating. I donated plasma today so I did not have a lot of energy today however I managed to keep up with the class. The class is an hour long. Pat introduced me to everyone. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I met the Center's director and the Activities Director. I signed up for the produce vouchers and received them here at this location. I am looking forward to the play, Wine and Cheese on Friday, July 24th @2 pm. The cost is $7.00 and virtual is $5.00. I am planning to attend. I had a good experience here today. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years.”

“This is “I-Money”; I am in the music industry for a reason. Rap, well the OLD SCHOOL rap from the ‘80s and ‘90s, was always the soundtrack to my life. Decade-wise, rap as my life soundtrack made my wonderful 2000s childhood and got me through those awful teenage years “last decade” as I dismiss the 2010s. (I was born in 1999; when I dismiss the 2010s as “last decade”, I am talking about high school from 2013-2017 as I favored middle school from 2011-2013 and life since graduating from high school in 2017 has been the best. I skip over those dreadful high school years “last decade” and fast-forward to my entry into adulthood around 2017/2018.) I started off as a rapper and ended up a WPPM DJ, doing classic hip-hop specials from my house, though I still rap part-time. A WPPM DJ first, rapper later. I started rapping in 2010, when I was in sixth grade and became a talent show rapper during my favored middle school years. FYI, I attended school at Penn Wood here in Delaware County, Pennsylvania(I’ve always lived in Darby Borough) and I was KNOWN for my rapping; while my other schoolmates from Penn Wood were obsessed with these Philly streets, music had always been the only thing that did it for me, as I rapped in the hallways and at the lunch table.”
