Dobson Mills is a pet-friendly apartment complex managed by Ernestine, also known as EJ, who is highly regarded for her warm and welcoming demeanor. The complex is conveniently located near Kelly Drive and various shopping centers, offering easy access to exercise and entertainment. Residents appreciate the friendly atmosphere, nice pool, and free garage parking. Many enjoy their interactions with the staff, including Mary Mitchell and maintenance personnel, who are praised for their responsiveness and helpfulness.
However, there are significant concerns regarding safety and security, with reports of multiple break-ins and thefts, leading to frustration among residents. The lack of security cameras and inconsistent patrolling by courtesy officers have heightened these issues. Additionally, some apartments have thin walls, resulting in noise disturbances from neighbors. Residents have also experienced problems with package deliveries, outdated appliances, and occasional water shutoffs due to construction work in the area.
While many enjoy living at Dobson Mills, the persistent security issues and other maintenance concerns have led to mixed reviews. Overall, the community offers a decent living experience, but improvements in security and management practices are needed for a more positive environment.
I am planning to move into the community next month and wanted to share how extremely helpful Eric has been with the entire process. From scheduling the tour to the application process, and now ensuring I am all set to move in.
