Element Philadelphia Downtown is a clean, well-kept hotel in a great and convenient location within walking distance of City Hall, Reading Terminal, historic sites, and many bars and restaurants. The area feels safe. Rooms are nice, comfortable, and spacious, with some offering city views. The hotel is quiet despite its central location. Guest experiences with staff vary. Some staff members are described as friendly, wonderful, kind, and helpful, going above and beyond. Other front desk staff are criticized as hostile, rude, stand-offish, and unprofessional, with abhorrent service. Valet parking can be slow and disorganized. Amenities are mixed. The free breakfast is decent but redundant and chaotic, lacking variety and fresh fruit. The free evening snacks are very limited. The hotel has no bar or real dining options. There is no airport shuttle. The design is modern, though the eco-friendly commitment is questioned. Overall, the hotel is seen as clean and well-located but expensive for the experience, feeling more like a three-star property. The room quality is consistently praised as the best feature.
Rooms are clean and well kept. Comfortable beds, a nice and spacious dining area and relaxing area by check in. Pretty quiet especially for being in the middle of the city
