The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) receives mixed reviews from its customers. Many appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of some staff members, especially when obtaining parking permits or retrieving towed vehicles. One customer praised a staff member for her assistance in negotiating a payment plan, highlighting her pleasant demeanor despite previous negative experiences with other employees. However, several reviews express frustration with the agency's practices, describing them as predatory. Some individuals felt that they were treated rudely or dismissively by certain staff members, leading to negative experiences during their visits. Issues such as being towed unexpectedly and the high costs associated with payments were common complaints. Despite the challenges faced, some customers recognized the empathy and professionalism displayed by specific employees, who helped alleviate their stress in difficult situations. Overall, while the PPA has been criticized for its policies and certain staff interactions, there are positive mentions of individual employees providing compassionate service. The experiences reflect a blend of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction, highlighting the agency's complex role within the community.

I disputed a ticket that I never should have received. Twice they rejected the dispute and tacked on fees. I sent all the pictures showing I was not parked in front of the No Parking sign, didn't matter.
They are corrupt, dishonest, and deserve all the resentment people have for them.
