Called in and was helped out by Rylan and Kyin, couldn't be happier with the service (wish there were more stars to be honest). Polite, informative, and very professional. “Hastings is the FIRST PLACE I go for commonly needed items -electrical, plumbing, bird food and feeders, household cleansers, or nuts, bolts and pull chain lamp sockets. Everyone in there offers to help you find what you need. The gentleman in electrical department found a new cane tip for me, used brute strength to pull the worn one off and applied the new! What’s not to love about Hastings!!”

We buy a lot of things that are disposable like boot covers drop cloths disposable gloves. As well as certain specialty tools that we don’t need that often.”

“As maligned as it was in years past, harbor freight is a great resource. Despite it's reputation for shoddy quality, I've had next to no problems with their tools and miscellaneous products, including a utility pump that's run flawlessly and much longer than it's had any right to considering I've pushed it well beyond it's stated purpose.”

Everyone at the store is friendly, and there is usually at least 1 person ready to help with experience in what you need. Today, it was Dan. He knew exactly how to help and gave advice on how to complete the repair. Will be back next time I attempt to fix something.”

“A little tight backing in to dock from street but not that bad with a 48ft spread axle plus I can dump the air out of my rear axle for tighter turning radius. Whse guys are really nice and efficient. The lady who runs the place is really nice also. All and all nice & friendly people to deliver too.”

“UPDATE:They arranged to pick up our pressure washer and ship it to their facility to fix it. They kept us informed on what they found and the actions they were making to fix it. They had the pressure washer shipped back to us. We will be testing this weekend to see if the problem has been resolved. We appreciate them taking actions to correct our concerns.
If i could give zero stars I would. First experience was shipping delays. Said it would ship within 10 days and it took over a month, almost 2. We called them every week for an update, was told it would ship Friday. Monday checked for tracking information and there was no update. Called again, only for them to repeat the same story over and over for weeks. Felt very scripted.
Once we finally received the pressure washer it seized up the first time we used it for our small business. Wouldn't start after using it for an hour. Weren't able to finish the customers job. Contacted this company about the issues with the machine and told me to contact one of their warranty service providers. What a joke! They gave me a list of about 5 service companies. All 9f them couldn't even look at it for over 4-6 weeks. The one shop that was available had us drop it off and it sat there for over 2 weeks. They said they couldn't get it to duplicate the issue. Got it back and it's done the same thing at 2 more jobs. I'd avoid this company!”
“I was trying to find a replacement cartridge for my shower valve. I did not know the manufacturer and have never replaced one before. The Dr was able to identify the part and give me some tips for installation in a few minutes. It was a great customer experience and I plan to make this a first stop before the big box stores for my plumbing needs based on the great customer experience of the small business. PS - My shower works again :)”

“I love busy beaver stores and this is very nice to have in Lawrenceville. They sell anything you may need even if it's not the biggest of their stores. A bonus is that it's rarely too busy. It's also one of the few places where I always find salt in winter when all the other stores around are out.The staff is hit or miss. I have met very good employees and probably a couple that were very slow and dragged out the check out too long. Overall a great place if you don't feel like going to the bigger stores like Home Depot and Lowe's.”

“On March 7, 2023, I visited my local Busy Beaver store in Castle Shannon. I should say here that I have never had a bad experience in this store. The representatives have always been helpful, friendly, and professional.On March 7, my cashier was Meegan and she asked if I would need help loading the 4 bags of potting soil I bought on sale. I said, "No, I'd be fine," thanked her and left. When I backed up my car to the stack of potting soil, there was Meegan standing there waving at me. She joked, "I don't listen well" and helped me load the bags in the car. I thanked her and tried to give her a lottery ticket which she declined.Please tell her how much I appreciated her attitude and help.Mike”

Other stores (Lowes, HD, Rolliers) that I would have thought would be able to help were very rigid and wouldn't help me out but these guys were interested in getting me what I needed fast.”

“Wonderful, overall experience, especially since this was my first experience. A friend recommended them, and I’m glad he did. I began working with one of the associates, who explained everything about the company’s services in full detail and was willing to work with me and the equipment I needed, despite it being a smaller order. When the gentleman left the company, another associate took over my account and honored the contract I had in place, even though I later found out, it was not the correct amount that should have been charged. Upon pick-up, Jeff and Greg were both knowledgeable and great in answering all of my questions and explaining how I can do preventative maintenance on the equipment, to keep everything in top condition. I would definitely recommend this company and will be looking forward to working with them in the future.”

“This place always seems to have what I need or finds a work around for me. Needed to repair a lavatory sink drain plug. This plug worked differently than the usual and no one had the replacement. These folks had a way to repair the un-replaceable. Works like new again. Price was fair.”
