“Joined about two months ago and it was the best gym swap I’ve done. Super friendly staff. Rarely crowded and all the equipment you’d need for a great workout. Sandy the owner is always so accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a gym they can access ANY time”

“I've been a member of traditional gyms and just worked out independently, but after college my workout habits became inconsistent and I didn't like the trajectory my health was on when I turned 30 a couple years ago.

I ended up joining Main Line Total Fitness because Ed (owner & trainer) and Tray's (trainer) program for me provided the additional structure and motivation I wanted. They take a whole-body approach to developing a fitness plan and use metrics in addition to weight loss to track your fitness progress. So while I've lost weight following their plan, I've also gotten feedback about how my body fat percentage has decreased and my muscle mass has increased, which has been really motivating for me.

100% love this gym and what Ed has created. I mainly train with Tray who has a lot of knowledge and has tailored my workouts based on his observations and my feedback. My top priority was to regain a consistent routine, and I have because of this program -- I mean, they even offer financial incentives for meeting my program goals -- that's pretty awesome!”

“The PF location where I live always has broken machines/water bottle filling stations so I drive 15 minutes to this location instead. Nice open gym, everything works.”

“I’ve truly fallen in love with this gym. It has completely changed my life in ways I didn’t expect. Not just physically, but mentally too. I feel stronger, more confident, and more motivated every single day.

What really makes this place special is the community. From the coaches to the people working out beside you, everyone is so supportive and encouraging. It feels like a place where you belong, not just somewhere you go to exercise.

Walking in always lifts my mood, and I leave feeling better every time. I’m so grateful I found this gym.”

“LOVE this place and these people! Morning, daytime, evening and week-end classes are available to accommodate everyone. That was especially important to me, because I like to attend a 90 minute Bikram class, every single day and my schedule is very rocky! I find all of the instructors Chalise, Justin, Alana, Chris, Neil, accomplished, attentive and so approachable. I use modifications, because I have joint replacements and shoulder cuff surgeries. All of the staff are open and friendly .One of the co-ownwers, Andy, has asked the Focus community, to take walks with me, when I could not take classes and was healing. He expressed his warm wishes for me to heal and come back, because I had shoulder surgery. The community engaged, chimed in and have really helped out! Focus is inclusive in every way and members bring their children, as well as their parents. I feel very blessed to have connected with Focus Bryn Mawr!”

“Everyone at DelVal is awesome! I joined as a kid when my dad first became a member, and we both have been here ever since! All of the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and prioritize your safety, but also give you that push when it's needed. And the members are some of the coolest people you'll ever meet! I'm so glad to be apart of this community!”

“I love the set up at orange theory. I appreciate their ethos to working out and the energy in the building. I like the orange lighting as well. Not a current member but will most def visit again. Their membership is quite expensive.”

“I love this gym!

The energy in the classes are electric, the classes aren’t boring ( it’s a mix of boxing and circuit training) and everyone is super welcoming and down to earth. Trainers aren’t pushy and they’ll show you how to do moves properly and they are nice about it. No late charges, easy to book classes and easy on the wallet.

Very happy with my decision to join and can’t recommend it enough!

“My favorite gym I've been to EVER. I've been a member since November 2018 and seen the greatest results in my life. I'm more in shape at 40 (+) than i've been in my entire life (& i've been a non prof. athlete from the age of 12 to 22 years old - soccer, track and basketball). At CP - I've also gained physical & mental strength, clarity and discipline all through Marcus' classes, talks, and even books shared and or recommended. If you want to change yourself for the better - this is the place to come. Hope to see you there. We are always happy to see new members....”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks at Main Line Ardmore this summer - our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Kelli leads a phenomenal community of coaches and athletes, all of whom are welcoming to newcomers and drop-ins alike. We hope to visit again soon!”

“I took an uplift class with Coach Jess. I was nervous because I have quirky things that cause some physical activity to be difficult but she was able to adapt almost everything to make sure that I was still able to do all the movements and feel super strong. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable and I never felt pressured to do more than I thought I could handle even if she thought I could handle more. I started the class with minimal weight lifting knowledge and finished today feeling both confident in weight lifting abilities and my body control in doing exercises. Her knowledge, personality, and humor made the classes fun. I'd totally recommend anyone taking the class if you need trauma informed weight lifting. If you're just looking for a great coach at a weight lifting gym... she's also your girl.”

“Best gym of all time. I hold every other one to this. The owner is always updating equipment and making sure things are taken care of. Members lift heavy and know what they are talking about. If I ever have a question, need help with a lift or training advice I can find it easily. 10/10.”

“Great gym to work out at with lots to choose from. I never have to wait long for any equipment. Staff and other members are friendly. I'm big on clean locker rooms. The facility is well kept. Good local gym without the overwhelming corporate look and feel. The community is nice and feels safe at any hour. It's tucked away in Newton Square's Ellis Preserve.”

“I have been a member of Legion Transformation Center for almost 6 years off and on. I recently completed a member challenge that is offered through the gym and had great results! The gym offers private training as well as group fitness classes. The coaches are great! Very knowledgeable and supportive and motivating. Initially I was intimidated but now I look forward to coming to classes. If you are on the fence about joining, reach out and try a class. You won’t regret it!”

“Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today to donate Power red blood for the American Red Cross. I have not donated in a minute because my hemoglobin is always too low. It was great to be back out donating again. My appointment was 8 am and I was late about 20 minutes. However the young lady volunteer at the desk took my information, meaning my donor card and my id and then I sat and waited until they called me. Anthony, one of the Red Cross phlebotomists, called me and then I was ready to sit down at the desk where they take your blood pressure and your hemoglobin and your temperature. I was ecstatic when the equipment read 12.7. I was over the moon, that meant I could give power red!!!! I wanted to dance, I was so thrilled!!! I was prepared with my blanket to wrap around my legs since its get cold in the donor room. I completed my successful donor Power Red appointment and then I went to sit and eat snacks, like Lorna Doone, the oreo cookies, cheddar cheese snacks, water and Welch's candy. They even had a new snack which consisted of blueberry and lemons. I hung out there about 30 minutes and I asked how I could recruit other African-Americans since there is a shortage of African-American donors. Michele, who handled my donation, asked Chris, another employee and Chris provided me a number to call directly to the Red Cross so that I could ask about donor recruitment. I had a successful appointment and I would not mind donating blood here again. The YMCA was staffed with workers to receive people going to workout. There was one young lady scanning everyone's key card. I had a good experience and I would return. Have a good night, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.”

“My 13 yo son started their middle school program a few months ago. We really appreciate the organization of the program and the instruction from the trainers. The flexible schedule is great and it's easy to register through the app. But most importantly, my son is getting stronger and gaining confidence which translates to his other sports. It's a very positive experience so far and we will soon be enrolling our younger son.”

“Long overdue, but I wanted to share that even after trying just one class, I found this to be an amazing program. Although scheduling made ongoing participation difficult for me, the environment was incredibly welcoming, and the opportunities for adults were thoughtfully tailored to accommodate those who are completely new. The community was supportive, encouraging, and genuinely warm. Highly recommend!”

“With a small parking lot and small facility, you might be able to socialize but you might be coming in just to work out and then leaving as in pretty much any place. This place is cash only and let's you pay lump sum and will waive enrollment fee if so. More places are starting to offer the lump sum option now instead of me having to ask for it. I was looking for a gym for one month but it is tough because either I am paying an enrollment fee AND one month which isn't worth it at all, or I pay by the class and some places have very limited hours. I could probably do Planet again or even Orange Theory but I was hoping to find a more local place. If this place was a closer commute for me, it would be worth it for me to sign up for a year. I want a self paced place since most places are either you get pushed and if you take a break or go too slow, you have to leave or are asked what is wrong with you. Everyone has different needs and wants. Or I do not have a budget for a personal trainer and some of the ones I have had at chain gyms are really particular about who they want to work with, and paying in full beforehand is not always enough sadly. I have a gym reimbursement fund but I have used it up for the year and that is a factor that is important to me too. At the end of the day, I understand that part of a gym experience (for me) is picking a place that will not overly stress me out. Accessibility and getting for what I paid's worth and all the peculiarities are important to me. You can't get 24-7 access unless you pay for a full year. This was probably the biggest clincher for me. Also as it is a small community atmosphere gym, holiday hours are not necessarily reflected on signs and website. You just have to ask or make it work. It is also cash only. 12/22/23 addition: When I first came to ask about enrollment options during hours, they were closed early for that and I got an announcement through the Ring bell to come back the next day, which thankfully I could. When I came back the next day, I was told a little story about how a "bum" came up one time just fiddling around with the door like nobody's business. Then, when the owner spoke through the Ring bell, the "bum" thought Jesus had spoken to him and he behaved himself after that! The joy of technology!! In my opinion, this is a good gym choice if you want a self paced workout and can pay in full for the year for the 24-7 access. Also, if you aren't looking for something that has a clean and polished look, which I don't need but I am open to either way, this is a good choice.”
