This is how you know the owner really cares about his customers by ensuring a unique customer experience.Asante Market has everything... and when I say everything, I really mean everything you need for those delicious African recipes as well as some hard to find British treats.Super clean store that actually smells very good - unlike some other African stores you walk in and want to run the heck back out.Help actually exists here... associates are very happy and more than willing to go above and beyond to assist you.Parking here is a bit fuzzy with small tight spaces but take nothing away from the awesome experience you get shopping at Asante Market.Hats off to the owner and his staff. “This is one of those stores where you walk in looking for a strainer and you walk out with a screwdriver, an outlet extender, latex gloves, 3 lottery tickets, and a turkey baster. You forgot the strainer, rinse and repeat. Seems to be run by a nice Korean family, it's a good alternative to Daiso since there isn't one anywhere around here. Recommend you explore the aisles, you'll see things you didn't know you needed. The tool/hardware section is surprisingly well stocked. My one caveat is that I wish they didn't sell betta fish, they usually don't look like they're doing very well.”
“I like how close it is to home, but they are a little pricey. They also dont take food stamps, so forget trying to go there if your using food stamps to grab milk and bread. But if you are bot and have cash, there sandwichs are always good and fresh!”

“This is the best Pharmacy that I've found in the city. The hours aren't always convenient but i will deal with that any say over waiting hours for fills or days for digital scripts. Or a pharmacy that seems to never have stock. This location (Target in CVS on bustleton ) is the best. The staff are great and they give such personal service.”

“This place sells everything. Household items, various groceries such as instant coffee, cereal and bread. I come here for the hot and cold foods. They make great hoagies. The bread is soft and chewy, just how I like it. I always order the Turkey ham with everything (forgot to take a picture ugh!). They don't skimp on anything with the hoagies. We also grabbed two cheesesteak hoagies (completely forgot to add pickles and hot peppers) but it was still good. My daughter loved her chicken tenders but she's not a reliable source . I did not taste the chicken tenders so I can't give it a fair review. I rated this place 4 stars (more like 3.5) because they could give more steak. Although the flavors were there, there just wasn't enough meat.”

“Aside from having the essentials in stock at Overbrook Food Market, they serve hot food. The first thing I've tried is an egg and cheese sandwich on a round roll. I'm from New York and hold a high standard for these kinds of sandwiches. I have to tell you, the ones they make here are quite possibly the best...EVER. Super buttery, the cheese and eggs are nice and soft and mixed well together, and the roll tastes very fresh. I can't wait to try some home fries or grits or something with the sandwich next time! I included a photo of the gorgeous sandwich here so you could see it in all of its glory. :)”
