“Had just bought groceries over the weekend when my refrigerator then decided to bite the dust, so despite keeping them in a cooler of ice until the new fridge was delivered yesterday, they still seemed questionable when I took them out of the cooler, so rather than taking any chances, I called customer service ahead of time to explain the situation and that I still had my receipt but had not gotten to use any of the groceries I just bought to see if I could return only the refrigerated items and get fresh replacements, especially given the price of groceries nowadays, and the manager was very courteous & understanding and agreed to do so as a one-time exception given the circumstances, yet whenever I called the Cranberry WalMart and asked the same for the other groceries I had just purchased there over the weekend too, their manager was the complete opposite in demeanor and refused to do anything whatsoever to help me, so I will now be giving my business solely to Giant Eagle instead for demonstrating more compassion toward their customers during a crisis, especially during a time when the price of groceries is at an all-time high and not everyone has the extra money to be throwing away on replacing wasted food they never even got to consume”
“Dave’s Country Meats in Butler is a well-established butcher shop offering a wide selection of fresh meats, including beef, pork, poultry, and house-made sausages. The quality is consistently good, and cuts are prepared to order if you need something specific.
They also carry smoked meats, deli items, and a variety of prepared foods and sides, making it easy to pick up a full meal in one stop. In addition to meat, there are baked goods and other grocery items available.
Staff are generally efficient and knowledgeable, and the shop maintains a steady flow of customers, especially on weekends.

“Labriola’s has been a mainstay for my family for decades. The Labriola family is hospitable, knowledgeable, and they put out high quality, proven products that are guaranteed to elevate your party or your most basic meal. I also like their pre-made meals for days when I’m strapped for time and can’t cook from scratch. 10/10 recommend; there’s something for everyone here.”
“A little treasure! I had no idea what I was in store for when I got there. Hours went by so fast, so if you’re stopping make sure you give yourself a solid amount of time.
A bakery, wine, a plethora of gorgeous plants, an all natural food store, goats, a giant chair, gift shop, arsenal cider… this place has everything.
I walked around tickled pink at the assortment of things to look at. The nursery had modestly priced plants, the cutest birdhouses I’ve ever seen, satchels of seeds for the garden, trees and bushes for whatever you want to plant in the garden.
I’m telling you. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Come spend time at this beautiful establishment.”

“This Aldi is a nice size and has many different offerings of food and non food items. We have found the produce to be fresh and well stocked, the people friendly and the location convenient. There are very few things we can't get here. This is our primary grocery store along with Market District.”

“I think it’s great that they hire a lot of local teenagers, but I wish they’d put more effort into training these kids. Every time I ask for help, they look at me like a deer in the headlights. If someone of age isn’t behind the lottery counter, they will literally ignore you and whisper amongst themselves instead of finding another employee. Please teach kids basic customer service skills!”
“I had to wait in my car for 1/2 an hour until they opened at 9am on a Saturday. But other than that, the store is clean and well let. Everything is reasonably priced. Just remember to bring a quarter for your shopping cart (which is returned to you when you return the cart) and you own bags for your groceries.”

“Very good neighborhood store. It’s not-up-to date like the Kuhn’s on McKnight Rd, nor does it have the variety of foods. The deli is excellent as is the bakery. Fresh produce is hit and miss. I’ve been a customer since before this location became a Kuhn’s. (?Shop ‘n Save? - some other brand at this location). Meats are reliably excellent. No cell signal (mobile companies ignore complaints). Sadly, Kuhn’s does not have WiFi and this is a definite detriment. I often want to check with home when grocery shopping. Add WiFi and Kuhn’s gets 5 stars. I have found the staff friendly and helpful way beyond what would be just adequate (like more than once walking me, personally, to the item I ask about!). Checkout clerks are especially friendly.”
“Ordered a cake for my husband’s Birthday. The worker who took my order gave me many options for cake & icing. The cake was ready when I came to pick it up. The bakery worker showed me the cake. It was beautifully decorated! When we got it home and were able to enjoy it, the cake was moist . The icing was smooth and sweet! I would order another cake from them anytime!! It was delicious and beautiful!”

It makes life a little easier when you need to pop in for something GF! The cashiers are friendly and inviting as well. “I don’t typically shop at Dollar General but stopped at store #24487 at 1569 Mars Evans City Rd in Evans City, PA tonight after work, because I had to pick up a few things and it was on my way home.
I just want to let you know how extremely attentive and helpful your sales associate Jordan was during my visit. I was having issues downloading and verifying the Dollar General app on my phone to access advertised coupons Jordan noticed this from afar and proactively swooped in to save the day without me even having to ask to walk me through how to download the app, register, verify my account, and tips and tricks on how to find the coupons I was seeking in between checking out other guests at the register.
I can’t tell you enough how appreciative I am of Jordan’s kindness to take the time to go above and beyond to assist me with this, especially after such a long day at work. I will definitely be coming back to shop at Dollar General again and it is all thanks to Jordan.”

The prices were very good and the store was nice and clean. I also found the employees to be very pleasent as well.

“I drive here to grocery shop most of the time just to avoid going to the Cranberry location which absolutely sucks. This location, while a bit further, is 10000% better for a list of reasons. 1. The service is good. The employees are all actually working! One of the bakery workers kindly showed me how to use the bread slicer, the man who makes that delicious sushi is always so sweet and offers my son lollipops, those working the deli counter are eager to take customers' orders, the customer service representatives are always quick to adjust when things ring up incorrectly. 2. The food selection is abundant and fresh, they carry the items I need and some items I didn't know I needed. 3. The environment is clean, accessible, and easy to navigate. Also, they accept WIC here unlike the Cranberry location! 4. A liquor store is attached - very convenient around the holidays! 5. Parking lot is infinitely better than the Cranberry location aaaaaand includes expectant mothers and mothers with newborns parking spots - a definite plus!! 6. Starbucks attached which is nice to have the option to visit after you've gone through the madness that is grocery shopping.”
