Long story short I lost some very important documents a good samaritan dropped them off at this location a young lady there did some detective work found me on Facebook verified!!!! it was me not only did she do that she also took the time to lay out all my paperwork and attempts to dry and save them she did an amazing job everything was accounted for I really appreciated that .... So if you stop in give Stephanie a big smile and much respect we need more people like her!!!!!”
“One of the gems along "the mile of hospitality." I shop here daily, as it is in walking distance from home. Some amazing products you may not expect in a local grocery, along with the familiar brands. Fantastic deli. Nice selection all around. Awesome take-n-cook meals, too! Prices are comparable and sometimes cheaper than chain stores. Gold card store sales are wonderful.”

“Went in bought a cash 5 ticket around 5:15 pm 21st of july 2020 ,lady was moody set ticket were i was not able to reach it ,more toward there side of counter ,handled paper money then went back to making hoagies ,no gloves ,so poor sanitary conditions in a pandemic to spread virus no hand washing either , i seen it, then looked at this customer on my way out as if everything was problematic, hey ..i was just going about my day giving them business as i do everyday.”

“So much better than the convenient on the corner of Boulevard and Olyphant avenue! Their prices are much cheaper than Boulevard avenue convenient. Prices of cigarettes are cheaper also and Boulevard avenue convenient no one ever wears masks during a pandemic”
“This was my first visit to this store as I work nearby. Masks are optional as of my late May 2021 visit. Upon entering I was a bit impressed. This is the first Dollar General I've seen that has a little produce section! I understand this was recently added and I thought it was a great idea. They have a lot of nice budget friendly home deco/outdoor deco items-- you'll pay a lot less here than in more expensive big box stores and I was pretty impressed with what they offered. On my most recent visit I grabbed three colorful table torches and a big bottle of fuel for around $15. I've shopped for these on websites and the torches alone are over $20 (for a set of three). A self checkout register is available, but on my visit, it wasn't operable. The bags they give you are thick plastic and hella sturdy. I'll get many other uses out of these! The check-out girl seems less than thrilled, but my motto is "Kill 'em with kindness!!" so I gave her a smile and a "have a great day!" and she seemed to perk up a little!”

“Got some good sales, although really misleading ❗Their shopping bags are horrible! Firstly you simply cannot get these cheap plastic bags to separate. They are irritatingly hard to open. Stuck together, and I refuse to lick my fingers to separate them! Well I'm going through the self check out, mind you there's about five or more checkers standing around joking and looking at the clock to see how much closer they were to the store closing. I'm really getting annoyed that I couldn't put my purchased item in the bag, I'm actually scraping my nails down from the top to unstick them, I add another item to the flimsy bag, go to lift it off, it all falls off through the bag, and the handle breaks! Everything falls onto the floor. I really almost lost it at this stage. I took a deep breath as best I could, cause now I'm overheating and that annoying mask isn't helping matters. It really was more so the workers standing there, just looking at me. Not one person made a single attempt to help me pick up my purchases! I'm happy that the jars didn't break, for they are glass. I'm way over it now. I'm just settling into bed and reflecting upon my day...I'm now like oh well stuff happens. But I'll tell ya those paper thin bags gotta go!One more thing them workers would have gotten out of there a whole lot quicker had they of had the common courtesy to help out a regular client's needs for some basic help, which I'm pretty sure fits their job description.... The cashier's are friendlier now it seems then they were... they have really fresh produce so yummy! Just love fruit and veggies!”
“A quick place to run for home decor , makeup , toothpaste pizza creamers milk eggs cleaning products to cat litter and food to dog toys to dog snacks bags and food. They truly have a ton to shop for your needs. Also sve your coupon as Saturday you can get 5.00 off of spending 20. Its attached to your receipt. A must to use as save 5 for your kids piggy bank or save for gas weekly. I found some pretty rustic lamps and vintage light bulbs. Gorgeous flowers and vases. I must say the sales on home decor you cannot beat.. the selection I would put in my house. My daughters home has over 20 items from here and the guests always ask. Need I say more. ??”
“I used Giant's online grocery ordering and contactless pickup and it was a pretty easy and fast. Giant was much easier than Walmart online ordering and the pickup process way extremely faster. Giant also has better product selection, higher quality, and same low prices compared to Walmart. While I don't buy my meat and produce at the supermarket, and thus cannot speak to the level of quality of fresh foods, their pantry items and deli meats are good.”

“Nice store, clean and well maintained. It's like a big Weiss or a smaller Walmart. They do have a deli section there with hoagies where you can get chips and a 20 oz soda for $10. The only thing I would really do with that is put a small cooler next to the hoagies with some of the drink options (to go with the hoagie meal deal) and place the small rack of chips on top of the cooler. Not only will it be better for the customers (convenience and not to go the drink part of the meal), but it would probably do better overall.”

“I recently stopped by this convenience store in my neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Harry is very personable and The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to find everything I needed quickly, and the prices were reasonable. The store also had a good selection of grab-and-go items for a quick meal or snack on the go. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit to this convenience store and would definitely stop by again in the future.”

“I had an excellent conversation with Jeremy and his staff... He was friendly and his employees under him keep this location in outstanding immaculate condition!... His employees work ethics shows that they truly care about what they are doing for DG and it's customers!... Take note DG as you got an excellent young man running the show... One negative I noticed is that the employees did not have DG shirts on other than Jeremy!... I asked them where is there uniforms and Jeremy said they have to pay for them!?!?... DG you are a multi billion dollar corporation that needs to smarten up and take good care of your employees... This is the most unprofessional look seeing employees running around the store with different logo t shirts... When I asked them all would you like shirts or vests they all said yes absolutely we would but they are $10... If you don't provide them shirts, I will be and I am sure you don't want your customer doing that for your employees!”
