“I first contacted Terry some 20 years ago when I needed purchasing advice for an E-type. I found one and Terry sent his assistant to see it to evaluate its condition. The report back was, “Don’t lose that car!” I did buy the 1963 3.8 FHC and Terry redid the engine and the seals in the car’s rear end. He sensed that I’d be a while in finishing the project so he gave me detailed instructions for maintaining the engine until installed, which I’ve followed. The complete restoration project was interrupted by a move to Florida, building a house and numerous other life happenings. Just a few months ago, my partner said I should use part of our nest egg to resume work on the car. I found an equivalent E-type shop in central Florida and have been working for a few months, ready now to dip the tub and tube frame and have that shop do the minor body work necessary.I can whole-heartedly recommend Terry for any E-Type work.
