Despite a heavy backlog of service requests, Chuck personally drove a truck out to get oil to me in record time. He also took the time to help identify that my furnace blower fan was bad, which turned out to be critical. Without that insight, I would’ve been freezing inside my house, and it could have become a dangerous situation. “Recently had to get some heating oil for my deceased father's house that we're trying to sell. We were trying to get the smallest amount possible, just so the potential buyer could verify that the furnace was functioning properly, as all of the existing oil had ran out. A competitor said they wouldn't even bother helping us out, unless we bought 100 gallons, which was an unnecessary cost we're trying to avoid. Not on was Shaffer's willing to help us out, they even lended me a couple of 5 gallon containers to fill up my dad's tanks just enough to prove the furnace was operational. One of the gentlemen working there, was kind enough to give me a quick tutorial on how to bleed the valve, to get the furnace running again. I don't understand some of the negative reviews here, because I received incredible customer service, and I would recommend them to anybody.”
