I do have a pro tip for you however. Whenever you see only one or two one star reviews it’s fun to go to that person’s other reviews. “Had a fantastic and memorable experience taking Studebaker’s “Reclaimed Rings” class. It was a small class with six students and three instructors, so lots of individualized attention and step-by-step guidance. They show you how to do everything, but you are really the one actually doing it! My fiance and I brought our own gold scrap, which we melted down and hammered and forged into our wedding bands. I made his ring and he made mine, they turned out so beautiful and have such a meaningful story behind them now!
Studebaker’s founder Michael led the class and he was very personable and cool. He shared so much about metalworking, the history of the craft, and his own story with us. He clearly has a passion for teaching and sharing his artistry with others. The class was an amazing 10/10 experience that we will always remember, and we are already talking about going back for the cuff making class with some friends.”

“Should have wrote this years ago! I was looking everywhere for an engagement ring to propose. I was on a tight budget but still wanted something really nice and in a vintage style. I went to about 15 jewelry stores, from high-end chains to family owned antique jewelry boutiques. Doug, the owner of Kenyon has been there for like his entire life I think his father started it like 60 years ago. He has by far the biggest selection and best prices. I chose a vintage style ring from one of his many catalogs (hundreds of rings to choose from). He sells loose stones in different sizes or bring your own that you can have set in the ring. I got a high rated over 1 carat diamond. He did all this personally for a fraction of the cost of a big brand Jeweler. Now this was before covid so prices probably went up, but it's worth checking out!! Trust me!”
