“It's a small but nice store with good stuffs. Really affordable prices. It has changing rooms as well. They accept only cash though. Overall very good but only open once a week :(”
“I took my son to visit Lion Surplus and he found a mouse and a computer keyboard and we paid a few dollars for each of them. They had used bikes, chairs, filing cabinets, dressers all for affordable prices! I like that Penn State sells their used items that are still in good shape to the community for decent prices. They also sell bakery items like breads, cookies and cupcakes. We will come back!”
“This is my favorite thrift store in the State College/Bellefonte area. Everything is clean and well organized. There a fresh selection of items every time I visit. Prices are very affordable compared to the nearby Goodwill. I also love the arts & crafts section. They always have small items like buttons and thread, which is perfect for when you don't need to buy a whole pack of sewing supplies! Staff are very nice.”
“The State College GoodWill has some good finds! Clothing is a bit high for a GW but household items are pretty reasonable. One thing that is aggravating is how they put their stickers on items. Bought a nice wall hanging the sticker was on the top front of the frame! Those stickers are almost impossible to remove without leftover residue.”
