Another employee in the grocery department went out of their way to check in the back for something I couldn’t find on the shelf. Prices were very reasonable, and I appreciated the wide variety of choices in each department—from fresh produce and household supplies to clothing and tech. “I don't use the pharmacy here, but I am leaving a good review because of the pharmacist. Yesterday (9/25/25) I went in very sick with coughing and my sinuses hurt so bad it felt like I got punched in the face. I asked the pharmacist what type of medicine I should get because I typically never get this sick or have to take medicine. He was very kind. He listened to all of my symptoms and suggested I get a certain kind of medicine. He suggested the perfect thing because it's now the next day and with only two doses I feel SO much better. I can breathe better and the pain from my sinuses is almost gone. I just really appreciate his help.”
“I told the baker my daughter wanted a Draculaura cake, and they did amazing. I was beyond satisfied with this cake. The work and price was way better than a lot of shops in the area. The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
