“Gordon Foods in Monroeville, PA is very clean and organized. There is plenty of parking and an easy entrance. As soon as you walk in the double doors, large carts are readily accessible. The aisles are very wide and items are easy to find. There are bulk items for baking, cooking, entertaining, and catering. One bakers pro tip: they have excellent prepared cookie dough that taste homemade in a wide variety of flavors. They have full deli turkey breasts, ham, etc. They have high quality steaks and hamburgers. Their frozen section contains vegetables, fruits, breakfast items, casseroles, lasagna, etc. You really need to explore the variety to appreciate it fully.”
“Just went to Aldi, I usually go once or twice a month. I always find amazing Aldi finds and awesome deals. I love the healthy options for food available at good prices. Aldi employees are always very nice and outstanding at doing their job. I can’t wait for my next trip to Aldi!”
“A great Italian market with pre-made Boars Head Hoagies for a fast lunch. Homemade deserts in large and single serve portions. Cold drinks and a huge variety or candies. Great stop for lunch or to grab dinner for later.”

“Such a wonderful family-owned grocery store! The owners are older and incredibly kind and helpful. They have a wide variety of products, and even shared a Thai curry recipe with me that turned out better than any restaurant in town. Shopping here feels personal—they’re always ready to help, and the gentleman even held the door open for me when my hands were full. “Best place to find a large selection of Indian groceries, snacks, fresh vegetables, and frozen food. Prices of a few items maybe slightly higher compared to other Indian grocers.”
“As far as Aldi stores go, this one is pretty good. They always have a variety of produce, it isn't always in the best condition, the organic celery is never up to par for example, it's typically bruised and brownish. Sometimes the mixed greens lettuce has old pieces in it. It's not bad enough to prevent me from shopping produce there, it's just something that I look out for. They have all the other typical aldi stuff, the specialty cheeses are great. They also have tons of different types of dips and salsas. The meat section is pretty good, but make sure you put your meat in one of the plastic bags they have nearby, because the racks that the refrigerated meat products are stored on is absolutely nasty. In the freezer section there's a huge freezer across the floor with specialty freezer items. This is PA, so there's unfortunately no alcohol section here, for those coming from out of state. But I don't hold that against Aldi.”
“I live in the middle of no-wheresville, and the closest GE is 20 mins away, which is unfortunate due to it also being my pharmacy. Someday, I'll do the mail drugstore thing, but until then, I get to complain about the distance. ? This GE, however, is even farther from me, but when in the area, I make a point to stop here. I find it amusing that they have a full service bar. "Honey, enjoy your martini while I gather the groceries." lol love it!
They also have an exceptional selection of groceries.”
“What a gem in Oakmont! We stopped into Oakmont Olive Oil Company and had such a great experience. The woman working there (wish we got her name!) was absolutely fabulous — so knowledgeable and passionate. She gave us the full backstory on the oils and balsamics, walked us through tastings, and really made the whole visit feel special and personalized.
The selection is amazing — We ended up leaving with a few travel bottles we couldn’t resist. You can tell this place takes pride in what they offer. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area — it’s a little tasting adventure with top-tier service!”

“I rate this store a 5 because while it may seem a bit like a liminal space it's very well kept in terms of cleanliness and stocking, the prices are great and the produce is honestly the best in the area. I'd keep coming back for the produce alone! What it lacks in variety it more than makes up for with consistently low prices and a chill, clean shopping experience.”
“Bailees bistro food truck is there every Friday 4 to 7. Do yourself the biggest favor and go get something from her. I had a gyro w fries. I'm from Chicago, and have yet to find a gyro home worthy. THIS IS!!! Portions are huge but that doesn't matter your going to want to eat it all I promise. The fries have a seasoning on them that's almost like a season salt and totally brings them to another level. Her food reminds me of sitting in my YaYas kitchen having a gyro from the best place around the corner! Thank you for giving me a taste of home!!!!”
“Best grocery store in Pittsburgh, support your local co-op! They got the best bulk goods and bulk spices in a 500 mile radius (maybe exaggerating). Prepped meals add fantastic as well and they have a huge coffee and kombucha selection”

“Their Italian roast beef with a good hard roll is perfect for Steeler Sunday! Getting a bit expensive, and I know everything is, but that doesn't make it any easier on the wallet. And C&S has been around forever in Jeanette because of this wonderful roast beef.”
