“Got comfy walking shoes. Unfortunately my older Sketchers became dreadful with my increase in walking. When I expressed this to customer service on website, got no satisfaction. Sketchers "policy" is not fair in my opinion. They expect the customer to pay to return their product when the customer knows this pair of Sketchers was not wearing properly. On another note, my wife's most recent pair had the tongue fall out after 2 uses. We are in our mid sixties, I question the quality of some of their products. These were NOT purchased at this store, but Beware of the customer support. Their product is not inexpensive, but the customer service experience makes me feel like the consumer is paying for their poor quality and Sketchers does not care unless the consumer pays to return the product. My wife's pair is in the trash. So will mine be headed. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, you make your own assessment. And yes, I use a shoe horn, to protect the shoe...-----------------follow up:Haven't heard back from Corporate Sketchers about policy, and it seems others have noted QUALITY issues.At least the photos are popular, didn't know my shoes could become FAMOUS ,?!!follow up July 31, 2023:Would have to down grade to 0 to 1 ⭐ for qualitySo frustrating, son mentioned his Sketchers were falling apart after he started walking more for new position. Shoes were year old but he just started using them substantially in past couple of months.Good news he ordered 2 pair (different manufacturer) and one fit him/ other fit me.So ?‍?has a new pair of ? (Daddy has a new pair of shoes)!!!I'm the optimist, so hopefully they are good quality.Sketchers has lost my trust in their product. Perhaps they can earn my respect back.In my opinion as a physician, one's feet are too important for ones foundation to have ? that fail to properly support it.My concern is not products that need improvement; it's Corporate Policy that doesn't facilitate it.”
