“This place is great. I admit I often go to Home Depot for plumbing parts because it's closer, but when they don't have what I need, or what they do have is junk, I go to Grove Supply. I'm always surprised that the price is about the same. The parts are always better, and you can often get some advice while you're there. Grove even delivers for a very reasonable price. I wish it was closer to Media, PA.”
“Spectacular customer service! I had contractors scheduled to work on my deck and I forgot to order plugs and screws for my Trex decking (I was providing all of the supplies for the project). I needed to find the plugs that day for the contractors. I found Wehrung's through a retailer search on the Trex website and gave them a call. They didn't have any at their Collegeville location, but had a supply order being transferred from one of their other locations that afternoon. They were able to get me the supplies I needed that very day! Thank you Max and the Wehrung team. You have a customer for life.”

“Always a pleasant encounter at Upper Darby Hardware. The staff is helpful with both service and suggestions for alternative solutions. Prices are often lower than the chain home improvement centers. Handicapped parking can be a challenge as there are limited spaces directly in front of the store.”

It's nice to keep the resource of having a neighborhood hardware in business so I check here before go to a big store or the internet. Plus they actually have people to help you and they pretty much have everything and at comprable prices. Once they (like 3 different staff discussed the situation) to help us find the right wrech for my son's bike when we had no idea which one we needed.”
“The employees in this store are wonderful! The prices at Harbor Freight are so much better than the big box stores like home Depot or Lowe's. I don't think I have seen a warranty backed by a store like this since Craftsman many years ago with Sears. I am always able to find what I need at a great price as well as picking up something extra because of the appeal.”
“If you're looking for a Benjamin Moore paint store in the Philly suburbs, you Must come to this store!!! I traveled from West Chester to Bridgeport to buy paint from these guys.Price: Unbeatable!!! This store was about $15 less than all the other stores in my area. Not only were they cheaper, they gave me a painter's discount and a free t-shirt... I love t-$hirts but I love them even more when they're free.Service: Outstanding!!! The staff here is exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable. They don't try to upsell you nor trick you into buying things you don't need. You can ask a million and one questions and they will answer them all and still leave you with some genius advice you never thought of. When you come here for the first time you'll feel like you've been coming here forever. “Convenient to my residence but much too small of a space for the amount of product the store carries, and as a result organization and claustrophobia can often become a problem. Several times it’s taken 5-10 minutes to locate an employee when I’ve had questions or am ready to complete a purchase.”
“A great place for building materials , lumber , sheetrock ,masonry materials,concrete supplies and the hardware supplies a builder needs. Fair prices and a friendly staff. A half of block South of 53rd and Baltimore ave.”
“Friendly staff in the warehouse. My appointment was scheduled on my end for 0700, but the warehouse says receiving starts at 0730. I arrived at 0630. Not a good idea! There is a lot of box truck movement and they are not patient! If you pause for one second, you will be in someone’s way!
Luckily, I found a spot to pull in and park to wait. It’s where they load and unload flat bedders. But don’t count on that space being available.
Better to park on the off-ramp and wait until just before your delivery time if you want to make sure you’re not late. Traffic along the way when I came in at 0630 wasn’t too bad at all.
*Receiving says to park outside the gate and wait until your delivery time. Personally, I’d rather not be in the way at all around here.”

“Been working on some large new construction and renovation projects in the area with Greg Favano. Could not be more pleased with the relationship we have built with Cooper through Greg. He is extremely responsive, quick to get pricing, request clarification and even suggest value engineering where it seems appropriate. His efforts to work with me and my team have left us feeling a sincere sense of comfort knowing that when an order is placed, its handled and we don't ever need to follow up. This location has been timely with deliveries and quick to help settle and billing discrepancies that arise, few though they have been. The only wish I have with this location is that they would deal with Square D equipment as these seem to be the standard our engineers differ to. Other than that, we greatly appreciate the hard work performed by Cooper and its associates like Greg.”

“Holod’s is definitely the best plant nursery in Philly. I would absolutely come here before Home Depot or Lowe’s. They have a really wide selection of plants, including a lot of native plants, and they are always happy and healthy. I wish the selection was more like 70% native/30% non-native, but the selection is still great now, and the nursery manager is always exceptionally friendly and helpful.”

“Yelp doesn't have an appropriate category for this. Discovered this place this fall while trying to find hardware for exterior doors we were both buying and having custom made. This place is for the serious shopper. You must make an appointment. No photography is allowed (I imagine they don't want window shoppers wasting their time taking pictures of amazing hardware and then trying to find it on Amazon or in a box store like Home Depot - spoiler alert...you won't so don't waste your time or there's). The selection was amazing. Modern to gothic. US to European. Door knobs to knockers and everything in-between. We had recently bought a new home designed to be Tudor but with Golden Girls taste everywhere. We wanted to beef up the historical look of the place and came here and found everything we needed. Their inventory is immense and their knowledge deep. Love this place!”
“From their sales counter, their sales personnel, their fabrication department, their in stock items from Francis to mini splits AC unit parts and all the tools you can imagine and if they don’t have it, they probably can get it. I’ve been done with these guys for over 30 years it’s just a wonderful experience every time you go into this Company. All the sales reps are very, very knowledgeable. “It’s not just a product the variety of products on the shelf in the aisles and there’s hundreds to pick from, they do that best for sure. But if their service. The service stands out the most they constantly wanna help you whatever you’re looking for and they actually know what to do as compared to people that you try to approach in a big box store. Now that I found this place, this specific place in Wayne I will no longer go to Home Depot or Lowes. This will be my choice even though it’s a little further ride. It’s worth it. You try you’ll see.”
