“They recently remodeled and greatly expanded the Tamaqua PA Dollar General. They did a really excellent job. It's amazing how many things they have their for a dollar store. Good prices too.”
“Big Lots has expanded their furniture department. It is now the first department upon entering the store. Prices on many things are higher than elsewhere. Wait for a sale if you are looking for a bargain.”
“Absolute amazing experience! We came into Jim Thorpe on this lovely Saturday and headed up the Main Street. I was greeted as I walked in by two kind-hearted workers, who were extremely kind to myself as well as my wife during our time in the store. These two young men were great! Traversing through the store, I was taken down memory lane! Toys galore! Home items galore! I loved every second of it. Now, I am writing this review as I sit down and eat at the Marion Fire Company. “It is thought to be if the racks of clothing out side the store are reduced in price. I found out when I checked out they were regular price. Don't they know those are to be of lower price, that's why they are there. Not happy.”
“Kind of messy but they were restocking but they carry the Delectable cat food in a bag that my meows love. Litter is reasonably priced since I go through a lot with three cats. Lots of a variety of itdms, too. The cashier was helpful and pleasant.”

“I don't mind going here for quick in and out bits. However, the prices are actually more than local shops like Wal-Mart and there's always long lines and there can be an employee at the register doing whatever but won't even jump in to help. Gets a bit frustrating. Most of the employees are nice at least.”

“One of the 3 local DG's. Fair prices and they sometimes have that one thing in stock that you weren't looking for but bought anyhow. Also, for its size, it has a fairly decent selection of items.”
