    “I’ll be honest—I was expecting a small, overpriced tourist-town grocery store, but this place totally surprised me. It’s actually pretty large, well-stocked, and they even have a weekly flyer with some really solid deals. I found everything I needed for our weekend getaway, and honestly, I could see myself doing my regular grocery shopping here if I lived nearby. The prices on certain items were so good I even grabbed a few things to take home. The cashier (a younger kid) was super friendly and had a great personality, which made the experience even better. The deli was good too. I didn’t check out the meat section since I had already brought my own, so I can’t speak to that—but overall, really impressed. Definitely not what I expected in the best way.”

Prices may be a little higher than other gas stations, but it isn’t enough to notice, let alone bring them down a star.     “I stumbled upon this place because I was a tourist and needed some chap stick. Of course I was there during a huge festival and lines and crowds were EVERYWHERE. The staff was so kind to tell me exactly where the chapstick was so I wouldn't have to wander around through the crowd. The staff here also allowed their bathroom open to the public and were very nice about it. The line was too long and I only needed chap stick anyway, but it really struck me how kind the staff were about the bathroom and how helpful they were in general despite being surrounded by a huge crowd and definitely overrun in the moment. My lips are soft and I'm very appreciative of this TurkeyHill”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
